We have rushed into the second week of Master Baker Holiday Club 2013 like hungry customers rush into a bakery first thing in the morning, and it is good! In speaking to some of last week’s leaders, here’s some feedback about what they’re anticipating: “Expectations for next week are that God will lovingly build upon that which He has begun this week in the lives of those here. And that those lives may be able to impact the lives of new leaders coming in. Having two weeks of HC is such a good idea! I Holiday Club is finally here! know God is going to do greater things, break more chains, lavish more love, and bless lives in meaningful and intimate ways.” (Ruthanne) In asking Jason and Abigail what advice they’d give to this week’s leaders, they said: “Just don’t freak out about everything. Make it your goal to take everything in your stride – literally.” (Abigail) “Listen to Damon (laughs). Expect God to move. Be open to God and what he has to say. Be flexibile, don’t be programme based. Have fun. Rock it. Do everything in love.” (Jason) Last week saw 17 first-time commitments! God is working amongst us. Let’s continue to trust Him for breakthrough and life-change this week. Pray for the children attending, the parents of the children – that through the truth the children take home, their lives would also be changed – and for all the leaders involved in engaging with kids and demonstrating Christ’s love. “Just don’t freak out…”

We have rushed into the

second week of Master Baker Holiday Club 2013 like hungry

customers rush into a bakery first thing in the morning,

and it is good! In speaking to some of last week’s leaders,

here’s some feedback about what they’re anticipating:

“Expectations for next week

are that God will lovingly build upon that which He has

begun this week in the lives of those here. And that those

lives may be able to impact the lives of new leaders coming in. Having two weeks

of HC is such a good idea! I

Holiday Club is finally here!

know God is going to do

greater things, break more chains, lavish more love, and

bless lives in meaningful and intimate ways.” (Ruthanne)

In asking Jason and Abigail

what advice they’d give to this week’s leaders, they

said:

“Just don’t freak out about everything. Make it your goal

to take everything in your stride – literally.” (Abigail)

“Listen to Damon (laughs). Expect God to move. Be open

to God and what he has to

say. Be flexibile, don’t be

programme based. Have fun. Rock it. Do everything in

love.” (Jason)

Last week saw 17 first-time commitments! God is working

amongst us. Let’s continue to trust Him for breakthrough

and life-change this week. Pray for the children

attending, the parents of the children – that through the

truth the children take home, their lives would also be

changed – and for all the leaders involved in engaging with kids and demonstrating

Christ’s love.

“Just don’t freak out…”
