TN45 MOTORSPORTS had participated in Quad Bike Design Challenge

season II, along with 2 countries and 35 teams and secured overall top 13

position and achieved 1st in Sales Presentation and Social Network contest.

Saur Urja Vehicle Challenge is a national level solar- electric car event with a mission

to promote creative education held at HINDUSTAN college of Engineering and

Technology, Coimbatore on 1st week of march 2019 and our team TN45 Motorsports

participated and won the 9th

position among 25 teams across the country.

Mega ATV championship ( All-Terrain Vehicle) season - 4 is a national level All-

Terrain Vehicle car event with a mission to promote creative, technical education

among students held at Querium Beach, Goa on week of April 2019 and our team

TN45 Motorsports participated among 100 teams across the country and finished the

event.

QBDC 2019 ( Quad Bike Design Challenge) season - 4 is a national level event on

Engineering students Design Competition to fabricate and race with off Road Quad

Bike conducted by Fraternity of Mechanical and Automotive Engineers (FMAE)

held at on 4th week of March 2019 and our team TN45 Motorsports participated

among 30 teams across the country and finished the event.

Team TN 45 is an organization of over 150 highly skilled and trained intellectuals that

participate in national cum international automotive sporting events across India. Team TN 45, a

nifty name for a team representing the fascinating district of Tiruchirappalli is the Society of

Automotive Engineers (SAE) Collegiate Club of K. Ramakrishnan College of Engineering. Started

hardly over a year back, Team TN 45, at present is a nationally acknowledged team in various

renowned automotive sporting events.

The members of the organization work on automotive projects- All terrain vehicles (ATVs),

GoKarts, Quad bikes, aero modeling and many other cool stuffs. The members get to design,

fabricate and test their vehicles in real time. In addition, they learn to raise funds for their projects,

market their vehicles. Teams would have to prepare documents like design reports, business plans,

brochures, cost reports, FMEA, gantt charts, validations plans and much more.

The Journey of this Team TN45 has just started to prosper among various colleges of our country

giving tough competitions with its performance and knowledge, These achievements haven’t been

possible without the support of our beloved Chairman - Dr. K. Ramakrishnan, Executive

Director – Dr. S. Kuppusamy , Principal – Dr. D. Srinivasan ,KRGI Manager , HOD’s and

Faculty members of all Department.
