SOLARWORLD is an international group that produ-ces solar power systems and contributes to a cleaner energy supply worldwide. The group is headquartered in Bonn and Freiberg, Germany, and in Hillsboro in the United States.

From the raw material, silicon, to solar power modules and finished solar power systems, the company com-bines all stages of production under one roof. Through an international distribution network, SolarWorld sup-plies customers all over the world with solar power modules and complete systems of every size – from small roof systems to large ground-mounted systems for power plants.

THE SUNMODULE PROTECT GLASS-GLASS MODULE is extremely durable and provides exceptional per-formance. It sets standards with regard to weather resistance, service life and mechanical durability. The Sunmodule Protect offers excellent protection against environmental factors thanks to the innovative use of the latest glass technology on the front and rear sides of the module. It is the perfect solar module for use in extreme conditions, such as desert regions.

THE NEW SUNMODULE BISUN delivers up to 25 percent more yield per installed kWp thanks to the use of modern cell technology. The duo cells with their active back side provide high efficiency, converting light from all directions into electrical energy. The double- sided light utilization, the so-called bifaciality, is based on the further development of PERC cell technology that SolarWorld industrialized more than 2.5 years ago. The glass-glass module is suitable for flat roof and ground-mounted installations in particular, thanks to its high weather resistance and higher yield.
