V2=0-0.7= -0.7V

For IE1=1mA , R1=-07 – (-5)/1mA= 4.3KOhms

For V3=0V, R2=(5V-0V)/IC1=5/1mA=5KOhms (choose closest of 5.1KOhms)

For R2=5.1K Now V3=-0.1V and V4=V3+0.7=0.6V

Find R3=(5V-V3)/IC2=4.4K, use 4.3K

For V5=-2V R4=((-2)-(-5V))/1mA=3K

Find V6=V5-0.7V=-2.7V

Find R6=((-2.7V)-(-5V))/2mA= 1.15K, use 1.2K

Find ` R5=(5V-V7)/IC3=(5-1)/2mA=2K

b. For beta=100 (IC=IE/101)

V2=-0.7V

IE1=1mA IC1=0.99mA

Find V3=5-(5.1K)(0.99mA)= -0.049V

Find V4=V3+0.7=0.65V

Find IE2=(5-0.65)/R3=(5-0.65)/4.3K= 1.01mA

Find IC2=0.99(IE2)= 1mA

Find V5=-5V + (IC2)(R4)=-5 + (1mA)(3K) = -2V

Find V6=V5-0.7= -2.7V

Find IE3=5V-V6/R6 = 1.9mA

Find V7= 5V-(IC3)(R5)=5V-(0.99*1.9mA)(2K) = 1.2V
