UK Greetings / YCN Student Awards 2013

Develop the ‘Write About Love’ greetings card brand to create a range of gift wrap and greeting card design and paraphernalia for the West- Yorkshire based company, UK Greetings, as developed from the YCN Student Awards 2013 brief

Concept

The ‘Write About Love’ brand range acts as a direct, playful, unique, and modern approach to expressing love. With heartfelt and often playful messages throughout the design range, in var-ious contemporary and eye- catchingly bright colours, the greetings card and gift wrap set is a unisex and universal purchase for men, women, boys, girls, and, simply, anyone that wants to declare how much they adore one another.

Develop the Jessie Leong Photographybrand and identity through a range of print and digital outcomes.

A / W 20126 Week Brief

Concept

Reflecting Jessie’s specialism and focus of empowering and high fashion portraiture photography, a clean, minimal brand image and identity was created, that would allow her bold and striking images to be at the focus of her presented portfolio and body of work as she promotes her practice to both industry professionals and potential clients throughout the future.

Deliverables

Printed outcomes include printed portfolio, business cards, social networking media (Facebook & Twitter), sample packs, sample images, thank you postcards, (various) letterheads/cover letters, (various) model and location release forms, invoice, curriculum vitae, envelopes and brand/logo stamp.

Digital / Web- based proposals will be executed throughout S/S 2013.

Wes Anderson Film Festival

Promote the hypothetical Film Festival of American auteur Director, Wes Anderson, at The Hyde Park Picture House, Leeds.

A / W 20118 Week Brief

Concept

Distinctive colour palettes used throughout each of the films were utilised to create a range of designs promoting each of the film nights, with the use of the font, Futura Bold, throughout, reflecting the Director’s own consistent use of the type throughout his films.

* Please note, the festival itself was hypothetical and has, in no way, any affiliation with either Wes Anderson or The Hyde Park Picture House.

Deliverables

Printed design outcomes include mailout box and sleeve, maps and contact cards, hotdog fold film booklets, saddle stitch information guide to The Hyde Park Picture House and Wes Anderson, and outdoor advertising (bus / train station).

Between the 19th-24th December 2011, The Hyde Park Picture House proudly presents the films of renowned American Art House Director, Wes Anderson to celebrate fifteen years of feature films- from the acclaimed ‘Bottle Rocket’ to the hugely successful adaption of British Novelist Roald Dahl’s 1970’s classic tale, ‘Fantastic Mr. Fox’.
