room with Courtney Sletten for the little ones ages 0-2.

The next LCMS - Missouri District Convention is scheduled to be
held from June 13-15, 2021. Each congregation is required to send a
pastoral and lay delegate to the convention. We are currently
accepting nominations for our lay delegate and alternate lay
delegate at this time.
The nominations will be presented to the congregation at a
Voter's Meeting to be held
immediately after church service on Sunday, December 6. The
election of lay and alternate
lay delegate will be the only item on the agenda. Please submit
your nominations to the church office no later
than Friday, December 4th by 3pm. Any nominees must be made
aware of their nomination. If you should have any questions, please

for my birthday and our 64th wedding

Thanks to LWML - Lutheran Women in Missions, for their work in
providing 16 quilts to the Children’s Home in Monett. These quilts
are given to children who are victims of abuse or troubled
families. It is a very difficult time in their life. Community
support is crucial to the success of the Center. Thanks to LWML for
their contribution. If you would like to be a part of this mission
or know have questions, please ask an LWML member. We’ll be happy
to share information.
Offering Envelopes for 2021 are in the Narthex. Please pick
yours up before the new year! If you are wanting offering envelopes
for 2021 — email or call the church

HELP! The school is hosting a Christmas Store this year where
our students can "shop" for their loved ones.
We are currently seeking the following: Small gift items for
men, women, boys, and
girls. Gift cards to Dollar General, Dollar Tree, and
Walmart are also very helpful. Tissue paper, small and medium
gift bags. We are also looking for 4-5 Thrivent Action
Teams to go towards this project.
Since we are unable to do some of our other traditional
fundraisers,
please consider donating to this cause.
Any donations of items or gift cards can be dropped off at the
school or church office.

Thanksgiving Food Ingathering
The Ladies Aid will have an ingathering of non-perishable food
on Thanksgiving Day, November 26
and Sunday, November 29. Distribution of food to families
needing food assistance
will be done mid-December. A table for food and a basket for
monetary contributions will be in the narthex. A Thrivent Action
Team has been
approved for the project.
LWML—December Meeting LWML - Lutheran Women in Missions will be
meeting
December 3 at 1:30 p.m. at the Community Building. Program
presented will be the history of 5 familiar Christmas hymns.
Join women of your faith. Come and learn where these hymns
originated and the history of their compositions as we prepare
for our Savior’s birth.
