Dear Parents and Carers,

Teachers are reporting that the students appear to be very tired. (Staff are too). If any families

are wanting to give their child a rest day please let the teacher know. Term 1 is not usually 10

weeks long.

GOODBYE and GOOD LUCK

We are sad to be saying goodbye to a number of staff this term. Heath and Sally are leaving.

We wish them all the best for their future. Thank you for being a part of the SGSS Team.

NEW STAFF

There are currently 2 teacher and 3 ES positions up on the DET website. Interviews will be

conducted over the holidays. As soon as we know, families will be informed of the new teachers

and Education Support staff.

EASTER RAFFLE

The Easter Raffle will be drawn at the school council AGM this Wednesday. Please return any

money that you have. Winners will be notified on the day and asked to collect their prizes. There

will be a number of prizes due to the large number of Easter eggs donated. THANK YOU.

PLAYGROUND

Our new playground will be opening up on Tuesday so we are very excited to be able to get to

use it. We are still waiting for one more piece of equipment to come.

COMPASS

If any families have not yet connected to COMPASS please contact the office as at some stage

this will be our major form of communication with families.

SPORTS DAY

What a wonderful day our students had yesterday at the Leongatha Primary School sports day.

Happy Easter to all our families and staff. Enjoy the break.

Term 2 starts on Monday April 19th.

Have a great week.

TOGETHER WE GROW.

Stay safe and healthy
