QUALITY D INING IN SOUTHPORT

Page 2: Southport Restaurant Guide 2016

Welcome to this the 10th edition of the Southport Restaurateurs Association (SRA) ‘Eat Out in Southport’ guide.

For those of you who are not familiar with who we are, and even those who are, I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about the SRA.

The Association was founded in 2006 and now has 28 members all of whom are proud to offer a varied style of restaurant and cuisine for you to enjoy. Our membersserve everything from Italian to Indian and Japanese toChinese – not forgetting traditional British of course.

When the SRA was set up it had one simple aim –to promote our businesses to you, our customers. All member restaurants are vetted before being allowed to join and have to make certain guarantees. One of which I am particularly proud of in this era of fast food and microwave chefs, is that we promise that over 70% of the food we serve is produced freshly on site using asmany locally sourced ingredients as possible.

Each restaurant is owned by local people who, like yourselves I am sure, take pride in the things that we own. With us you will get that personal touch that only anowner can offer and I know full well that all of us love tomeet our customers and get to you know you as friends.

We pride ourselves on offering real quality at great value. When you visit the ‘special offers’ section of visitsouthport.com, you will find many restaurants running some great seasonal promotions.

In 2011 we launched our own Loyalty Card, which manymembers have signed up to. You can now enjoy somewonderful food and drink with the added bonus of somesuper special offers. Simply call into any of the restaurantslisted in this guide and ask for your FREE Loyalty Card. Alternatively if you are planning a visit to Southport, order one before you arrive by emailing your full name and address to [email protected]

Thank you for your interest in our Association and I hopeyou will find a restaurant which tickles your taste buds!
