SPANS telah mengadakan ujian fizikal dan kecerdasan dengan kerjasama Bahagian Penguat Kuasa Dewan Bandaraya Kuching Selatan (DBKU) bagi tujuan pengambilan jawatan Pengawal Keselamatan, Gred KP11 bertempat di Bahagian Miri pada 5-6 Ogos 2019. Selain itu, saringan air kencing juga turut dilaksanakan dengan kerjasama Agensi Anti Dadah Kebangsaan (AADK)
