MESSAGE FROM THE A/ CEO

Dear Readers,

It is with great pleasure that I present you with the second edition of our newsletter. I sincerely encourage you to read the important information enclosed in this newsletter regarding programme updates and achievements over the last four quarters.

EDC spearheads the implementation of the national Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP), a joint programme funded by UNDP Ethiopia and administered by the Government of Ethiopia. EDP seeks to strengthen institutional capacity; promote entrepreneurship competencies and skills across the country through entrepreneurship development trainings; and provide mentorship through business development advisory services to entrepreneurs. The center also identifies and proactively engages with stakeholders through dialogues aimed at creating

awareness and solutions to address institutional, policy and market constraints that inhibit the establishment and growth of micro and small enterprises in the country.

The last four quarters mark a time in which EDC continued to work towards realizing its missions. Once again in November 2015, EDC hosted Ethiopia’s Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) by coordinating several awareness creation events throughout the country. EDC launched its Rural Entrepreneurship Training programme targeting micro enterprises and model farmers operating in rural communities. EDC scaled up its provision of various entrepreneurship training programmes to diverse target beneficiaries to enhance entrepreneurial competencies of thousands of existing and potential entrepreneurs. In addition, EDC largely invested in its trainers through certification workshops that made them National Entrepreneurship Trainers and National Master Trainers for Ethiopia with support from the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).

The period also marked the time in which EDC restructured the business development advisory services provision provided to entrepreneurs. The new model will ensure effectiveness and efficiency in the service. EDC has now completed the process and launched the new BDS business model as of September 2016. In addition, through a partnership with Microsoft 4Africa, EDC coordinated the deployment of international Microsoft executives to provide training and mentorship to select clients across the country on marketing strategies, business branding and growth, client management, as well as sourcing partners and funding.

The Centres of Excellence for Entrepreneurship that EDC helped establish in the five public universities (Adama Science and Technology University, Addis Ababa University, Bahir Dar University, Hawassa University, and Mekelle University) are now providing business incubation and development services to university students and the community at large.

EDC organized two Innovation for Development Breakfast Meetings with a focus on women innovators and rural energy technology. Both events brought together prominent stakeholders working in the respective fields and provided a platform to shed light on some of the significant challenges and opportunities facing the innovators in their sectors.

EDC moved to strengthen its institutional capacity by adding core and support staff at all regional coordination offices and the headquarters in Addis Ababa. Through all the stakeholder engagement activities, EDC is strengthened and equipped to lead the development and competitiveness of micro and small enterprises in Ethiopia.

In closing, I would like to thank all our partners including the Government of Ethiopia, donors, and stakeholders across the different sectors. Your sustained patronage is greatly valued and appreciated. Together we can make a difference.

2015 GLOBAL

ENTREPRENEURSHIP WEEK EDC, once again, hosted the Global

Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) in Ethiopia with the theme “Make it Happen”. The celebrations took place from 16 – 22 November, 2015. EDC chaired the host committee meetings which culminated in the organization of a number of thematic events held throughout the country. These GEW events which were broadcasted in various local media channels, sparked up nation-wide dialogue on the role of entrepreneurship in sustainable development.

During the week, EDC also held simultaneous ETW training exclusively for 200 women in Addis Ababa, SNNP, Oromia, Tigray, and Amhara regions. Tapping into the national plasma screen education system, EDC developed an informational video to spark interest for entrepreneurship among young Ethiopian students. 1,180 public schools all over the country participated in the weeklong screening which was made possible through a partnership forged with the Ethiopian Educational Information and Communications Bureau.

The GEW celebrations ended with a reception and Entrepreneur of the Year Award ceremony. The award was given to a Young Entrepreneur of the Year and a Seasoned Entrepreneur of the Year. The award recipients were fashion designer Hiwot Gashaw and industrialist Bekele Tsegaye respectively. Our partners from the governments if Ethiopia and Canada as well as UNDP, academic researchers, business owners, EDC clients among other stakeholders attended the award ceremony.

UPDATE ON THE CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE FOR

ENTREPRENEURSHIPEDC launched its first Centre of Excellence for

Entrepreneurship (CoEE) housed in Hawassa University in December 2015.

In lead up to this milestone EDC, UNDP, the Federal Urban Job Creation and Food Security Agency, and the Ministry of Education held a dialogue on the vision, functionalities and expected outcomes for each CoEE in October, 2015.

The retreat provided an opportunity for the Centres to provide an update on activities that have taken place as well any challenges that have been encountered. In addition, the retreat allowed all stakeholders involved to develop joint action plans for successful operationalisation of the Centres.

INNOVATION FOR DEVELOP-MENT BREAKFAST MEETINGS

Two breakfast meetings have been held so far this year – one focused on women innovators and the other on the local rural energy technology landscape.

Marking the International Women’s Day on March 8, 2016, EDC hosted the 8th Innovation for Development Breakfast Meeting under the theme “Planet 50-50 by 2030: Step it up for gender equality” - bringing focus on achieving gender parity by the year 2030. The breakfast meeting convened women innovators and entrepreneurs to discuss their prospects and challenges. Panel members included Dr Emezat Mengesha, Lecturer and Former Head of the Center for Gender Studies, Addis Ababa University; W/ro Mulu Lorri, Vice President, AWEP; W/rt Hiwot Gashaw, Owner, Abugeda Fashion and Winner of the Emerging Entrepreneur of the year award for GEW 2015; and W/ro Yilfigne Abegaz, National Programme Coordinator, UN Women

The meeting further celebrated women through an exhibition that showcased women-led businesses. Women featured at the exhibition produce a wide range of products some of which are food items, organic detergent, energy saving earthenware stoves and home utility storage products.

The 9th Innovation for Development Breakfast Meeting took place on September 6, 2016. The meeting focused on rural energy technology as it exists in Ethiopia. Participants deliberated on existing rural energy innovations and looked into opportunities for scaling up entrepreneurship in the sector through capacity building and grant awards.

YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS TRAINED AND PROVIDED

MENTORSHIP BY MICROSOFTEXECUTIVES

Microsoft 4Africa entered into a capacity enhancement support agreement for the Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) in 2014.

As part of this agreement, 59 young men and women entrepreneurs took part in the second Build Your Business (BYB) training session held in Addis Ababa and Mekelle in April 2016. Prior to this, BYB sessions were held in Bahir Dar and Hawassa in 2015. The BYB training seeks to develop the knowledge and skills of those looking to sustain existing businesses as well as those wishing to start a new micro and small enterprise. The training was provided by Microsoft executives from the United States and South Africa.

In addition, four Microsoft executives from Europe and Asia travelled to Ethiopia to provide mentorship to EDC clients between May and July. The mentors

had various areas of expertise including youth/female entrepreneurship development, service sector, fashion, customer relationship management and sell-in, restaurant management, search engine marketing, social media marketing, as well as customer and web analysis. The mentors met with entrepreneurs in Addis Ababa and the regional cities of Bahir Dar, Hawassa, Mekelle, and Adama. They mentored a total of 32 EDC clients during their stay in the various locations. Two of the mentors also conducted capacity building workshops for EDC and UNDP staff on customer relations management and a Microsoft corporate communications tool called Yammer respectively.

All the trainees and mentees are already benefiting from Business Development Services provided by EDC.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP TRAINERS CERTIFIED BY UNCTAD

Over the past year, EDC’s trainers have undergone two certification programmes, namely National Entrepreneurship Trainer and National Master Trainers, certified by UNCTAD. The trainers are business owners as well as educators from Addis Ababa, Haswassa, Mekelle, Bahir Dar, Haramaya, and Wollega universities.

The first certification took place from August 10 - 21, 2015 where nineteen local entrepreneurship trainers who have been facilitating entrepreneurship training workshops for more than a year have were certified as National Entrepreneurship Trainers by UNCTAD.

The second certification took place from September 28 – October 1, 2016 where twenty local entrepreneurship trainers were certified as National Master Trainers by UNCTAD. The certification was conducted by lead facilitators from UNCTAD offices in Brazil, Zimbabwe and Switzerland. This certification

program will enable the trained to coach and develop other local Trainers of Trainers and also assess training delivery performance. This capacity will be of great value to EDC’s mission in the country.

In the near future, a fourth and final certification called International Master Trainers will allow the trainers to travel anywhere in the world to deliver the entrepreneurship training workshop module.

RESTRUCTURE OF PROVISION OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

SERVICESIn order to streamline the Business Development

Services (BDS) delivered to clients, EDC has restructured the model to ensure effective and targeted services. Through an assessment of clients and other BDS models from different organizations (both local and international), EDC has begun delivering services to clients through a combination of group training sessions as well as customised one-to-one sessions. The group training sessions will focus on: business plan preparation, accounting and finance, marketing, business operations and HR, and startup-toolkit. Clients can sign up for group sessions upon completion of the EDC training programme. Clients can also apply for one-to-one services upon completion of the EDC training programme, their applications will be screened accordingly. The one-to-one sessions are reserved for high growth potential entrepreneurs who already have the foundations of their business and are looking to take their enterprise to the next level of competitiveness through exporting, diversifying their products, expanding their market penetration, opening up new branches, etc.The call for applications for the 2016

EVENT UPDATETHE ENTREPRENEURSHIPAVENUE: A PATH TO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

On May 27, UNDP and EDC co-hosted an event that showcased results achieved through the Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) in its first three year phase which comes to an end in 2016. The event provided a high level overview of EDC and its accomplishments. Select entrepreneurs shared personal experiences on their engagement with EDC by way of training and BDS. H.E. Ato Mekuria Haile, Minister of Urban Development and Housing at the time, was introduced to an array of products EDC clients produce. The mini exhibition put one of the clients’ learning into practice – use every marketing opportunity when relevant – some of the clients were able to sell some of the merchandise to event attendees.

የኢንተርፕርነሩሺፕ ልማት ማእከል (ኢዲሲ) በተባበሩት መንግስታት ድርጅት የልማት ፕሮግራም ኢትዮጵያ መስራችነትና በኢትዮጵያ መንግስት አስተዳዳሪነት በጋራ የሚተገበረው የብሄራዊ የስራ ፈጠራ ልማት መርሀግብር ( ኢዲፒ) ዋና አካል ነው፡፡የብሄራዊ የስራ ፈጠራ ልማት መርሀግብር ( ኢዲፒ) ተቋማዊ አቅምን በማጠናከር የስራ ፈጠራን በማጠናከር በማብቃት አገር አቀፍ በሆነ መልኩ የስራ ፈጠራንና ልዩ ልዩ የንግድ ስራ ክህሎትን እንዲዳብር ለማስቻል ስልጠናዎችን ከመስጠት ባሻገር እራሱን የቻለ ልዩ የስራ ክፍል በማቋቋም ለስራ ፈጣሪዎች በእልት ተእለት የስራ እንቅስቃሴቸው የክትትልና የድጋፍ አገልግሎትን ይሰጣል፡፡ ከዚህም በተጨማሪ ማእከሉ በጥቃቅንና አነስተኛ የንግድ ስራዎች ላይ የሚታየውን የፖሊሲ፣የተቋናትና የገበያ ተግዳሮቶችን መፍትሄ ማምጣት ይቻል ዘንድ

ከባለ ድርሻ አካላት ጋር በመተባበር የተለያዩ የልምድ ልውውጦችና ግንዛቤ ለመፍጠር የሚያስችሉ የተለያዩ ስራዎችን ልዩ ትኩረት ሰጠትቶ ይሰራል፡፡

ባላፉት አራት ሩብ አመታት ማእከለሉ የተቋቋመበትን አላማ ማሳካት ያስችለው ዘንድ የተለያዩ በመስራት አሳልፏል፡፡ከእነዚህም ተግባራት መካከል በህዳር 2015 የተካሄደውንና አለም አቀፍ የስራ ፈጣራ ሳምንትን (ጂኢደብሊው) በማስመልከት በመላው ሀገሪቱ የተለያዩ የግንዛቤ ማስጨበጫ ፕሮግራሞችን አዘጋጅቷል፡፡ከዚህም በተጨማሪ ማእከለሉ የገጠር የስራ ፈጠራ ስልጠናዎችን ለጥቃቅንና አነስተኛ ተቋማትና ለሞዴል አርሶ አደሮች ለመስጠት የያዘውን እቅድ ተግባራዊ አድርጓል ፡፡ከዚህም ባሻገር እየሰጠ ያለውን የተለያዩ የስራ ፈጠራ ስልጠናዎች ተደራሽነታቸውን በማስፋትና በስራ ላይ ያሉና ወደስራ እየገቡ ያሉትን አዳዲስ ስራ ፈጣሪዎች ልዩ ልዩ ስልጠናዎችን በመስጠትና ከተበባበሩት መንግስታት ድርጅት የንግድ ልማት ተቋም ጋር በመተባበር አሰልጣኞችን ሙያ በማዳበርና በሀገር አቀፍ ደረጃ የማብቃት ስራ ተስርቷል፡፡

ተቋሙ በእነዚህ አራት ሩብ አመታት ውስጥ ከሰራቸው ስራዎች መካከል በተቋሙ የንግድ ስራ ልማት የማማከር አገልግሎት የሚሰጠውን የስራ ክፍል በድጋሚ ማዋቀር አንዱ እና ዋንኛው ነው፡፡አዲሱ መዋቅር ቀልጣፋና ጥራት ያለው አገልግሎት ለመስጠት ያስችላል፡፡በመሆኑም ይህው አዲሱ መዋቅር በመስከረም 2016 አገልግለሎት መስጠት ይጀምራል፡፡ከዚህም በተጨማሪ ከማይክሮ ሶፍት ፎረ አፍሪካ ጋር በመተባበር በመላው ሀገሪቱ ባሉ የተቋሙ ቅርንጫፍ መስሪያ ቤቶች በገበያ ጥናት ቢዚነስ ብራንዲንግ እና ብራንዲንግ ዴቨሎፕመንት፣ በደንበኞች አስተዳደር፣በጋራ ስለመስራትና ካፒታል ስለማመንጨት ስልጠናዎችንና የተግባር ልምምዶችን ለተለያዩ ባለሙያዎችን አሰራጭቷል፡፡

ማእከላችን በመላው ሀገሪቱ በሚገኙ አምስት ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች ማለትም (በአዳማ ሳይንስና ቴክኖሎጂ ዩኒቨርሲቲ፣በአዲስ አበባ፣በባህር ዳር፣በአዋሳ እና በመቀሌ ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች ለማቋቋም ታቅደው የነበሩት የስራ ፈጠራ የልቀት ማእከላት በአሁኑ ሰአት ለዩኒቨርሲቲው ተማሪዎችና እንዲሁም ለአካባቢው ማህበረሰብ አባላት የስራ ፈጠራና ስራ የስራ አመራር ስልጠናዎችን በመስጠት የስራ ፈጣሪዎችን በማብቃት ላይ ይገኛሉ፡፡

ስብሰባዎችን ከተለያዩ የባለድርሻ አካላት ጋር በጋራ አዘጋጅቷል፡፡ በእነዚህም ስብሰባዎች ጉዳዩ የሚመለከታቸው የመንግስትና የግል ባለድርሻ አካላት በዘርፉ ያሉትን ተግዳሮቶችና ልዩ የገበያ አማራጮች ከማመላከት በተጨማሪ በሂደት ምን ሊደረግ እንደሚገባ አቅጣጫ የታየበትና የልምድ ልውውጥ የተደረገባቸው ነበሩ፡፡

የኢንተርፕርነሩሺፕ ልማት ማእከል (ኢዲሲ) ተቋማዊ አቅሙንና ለማጎልበትና አደረጃጀቱን ለማጠናከር ይረዳው ዘንድ አዲስ አበባ በሚገኘው በዋና መስሪያ ቤቱና በተለያዩ የሀገሪቱ አካባቢዎች በሚገኙ የክልል ማእከላት አዳዲስ ሰራተኞችን በመቅጠርና አጋዥ የስራ ክፍሎችን ማቋቋም ተችሏል፡፡በዚህ ሁሉ ስራዎችም ማአከሉ ከተለያዩ የባለድርሻ

የኢንተርፕርነሩሺፕ ልማት ማእከል (ኢዲሲ) ተቋማዊ አቅሙንና ለማጎልበትና አደረጃጀቱን ለማጠናከር ይረዳው ዘንድ አዲስ አበባ በሚገኘው በዋና መስሪያ ቤቱና በተለያዩ የሀገሪቱ አካባቢዎች በሚገኙ የክልል ማእከላት አዳዲስ ሰራተኞችን በመቅጠርና አጋዥ የስራ ክፍሎችን ማቋቋም ተችሏል፡፡በዚህ ሁሉ ስራዎችም ማአከሉ ከተለያዩ የባለድርሻ አካልት ጋር በመመተባበርና በመቀናጀት በሀገሪቱ ያሉትን አነስተኛና ጥቃቅን የንግድ ስራዎችን ለማበረታታትና ለማሳደግ እንዲሁም የተቋሙን የራሱን አቅም ለማጠናከር የየተለያዩ ስራዎቸን በመስራት ላይ ይገኛል፡፡

በመጨረሻም በዚህ ሁሉ ጉዞአችን ውስጥ ለተባበሩን አካላት ማለትም ለኢትዮያ መንግሰት በተለለያዩ ዘርፎች ላሉ ባለድርሻ አካላት እና ለጋሽ ድርጅቶች ላቅ ያለ ምስጋናዬን በድርጅቱና በራሴ ስም ምስጋናዬን አቀርባለሁ፡፡በጋራም ትልቅ ለውጥ እንደምናመጣ አረጋግጣለሁ፡፡

2015 አለማቀፍ የስራ ፈጠራ ሳምንትየኢንተርፕርነሩሺፕ ልማት ማእከል (ኢዲሲ) ያዘጋጀውና መሪ

ቃሉ ‹‹እንዲሆን እናድርግ›› በማለት የተሰየመውን አለማቀፉን የስራ ፈጠራ ሳምንት አዘጋጅቷል፡፡ በዚሁ ከህዳር 6-12 ቀን 2008 ዓ.ም ድረስ በቆየውና ማእከሉ በዋነኛነት በመራው በዚሁ በአል ማእከለሉ በተለያዩ የሀገሪቱ ክፍሎች ባሉት ማእከላት እየተሰሩ ያሉትን ስራዎች ለታዳሚዎች በማሳየት ተከናውኗል፡፡ከዚህም ባሻገር ስነስርአቱ በተለያዩ የመገናኛ ብዙሀን መሰራጨቱና በሀገሪቱ ያለውን ዘላቂነት ያለውን ልማት ከማፋጠን አንጻር የስራ ፈጠራ የሚቻወተውን ሚና ያሳየ ነበር፡፡

በዚሁ የአለም አቀፉ የስራ ፈጠራ ሳምንት ጎን ለጎን በሀገሪቱ በሚገኙት አምስት የማእከሉ ማስተባበሪያ ማእከላት ማለትም በደቡብ ብሄር ብሄረሰቦች፣በትግራይ፣በአማራ፣በኦሮሚያና በአዲስ አበባ ለሁለት መቶ ሴቶች የኢቲደብሊው ስልጠና ለመስጠት ተችሏል፡፡ከዚህም በተጨማሪ በሁለተኛ ደረጃ ትምሀርት ቤቶች በሚገኙ የፕላዝማ ቴሌቭዥኖች በመታገዝ ለወጣት የሀገሪቱ ስራ ተማሪዎች ስለ ኢንተርፕርነርሺፕ ትምህርት መስጠት ተችሏል፡፡1180 በሚያህሉና በመላው ሀገሪቱ ባሉት የመንግስት ትምህርት ቤቶች ከኢትዮጵያ ትምህርት መረጃና ግንኙነት ቢሮ ጋር በትብብር ለአንድ ሳምንት የቆየ ስልጠና መስጠት ተችሏል፡፡

የአለም አቀፉ የኢንተርፕርነርሺፕ ሳምንት በአል አከባበር ስነስርአት የተጠናቀቀው የአመቱን ምርጥ ስራ ፈጣሪ በመቀበልና በመሸለም ነበር፡፡ይህም ሽልማት የተሰጠው ለሁለት ተሸለሚዎች ሲሆን እነዚህም ተሸላሚዎች የአመቱ ወጣት ስራ ፈጣሪ እና የአመቱ ምርጥ ስራ ፈጣሪ ሲሆኑ ተሸላሚዎቹም የፋሽን ዲዛይነር የሆነችው ወ/ሪት ሂዎት ጋሻው እባ የኢንዱስትሪ ባለሙያው አቶ በቀለ ጸጋዬ ናቸው፡፡በፕሮግራሙም አጋሮች የሆኑት የኢትዮጵያና የካናዳ መንግስታት ተወካዮች የተባበሩት መንግስታት ድርጅት የልማት ፕሮግራም የተወከሉ፣ በትምህርት ጉዳይ ላይ የተሰማሩ ባለሙያዎችና የማእከከሉ ደንበኞች ከሌሎች ባለድርሻ አካለት በፕሮግራሙ ላይ ተገኝተዋል፡፡

የስራ ፈጠራ ልቀት ማእከሉ እየሰራቸው የሚገኙ ስራዎች

የኢንተርፕርነሩሺፕ ልማት ማእከል (ኢዲሲ) ለመጀመሪያ ጊዜ በሀዋሳ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ውስጥ ያቋቋመው የስራ ፈጠራ የልቀት ማእከል(ሲኦኢኢ) ስራ የጀመረው በታህሳስ 2008 ዓ.ም ነበር፡፡ማእከላችን ይህንን ተቋም ለመመስረት የሚያስችለውን ስለ ማእከሉ አላማና ሊፈጽማቸው ስለታሰበው ተግባራት ከጥቅምት 2008 ዓ.ም ጀምሮ ከትምህርት ሚኒስቴር፣ከተባበሩት መንግስታት የልማት ፕሮግራም፣እንዲሁም ከከተሞች ስራ ፈጠራና የምግብ ዋስትና ኤጀንሲ መስሪያ ቤቶች ጋር ተከታታይ ውይይቶች ሲያደርግ ቆይቷል፡፡

ከእነዚህም በተጨማሪ ማእከሉ እየሰጠ ያለውን የተለያዩ አገልግሎቶች በምን መልኩ መሻሻል እንዳለባቸውና እየገጠሙ ያሉ ተግዳሮቶችን ከማመላከት ባሻገር ከባለድረሻ አካላት ጋር በምን መልኩ የተሳከካ የጋራ እቅዶችን ማስፈጸም እንደሚቻል ያሉ አማራጮችን ከማመላከት አንጻር የተለያዩ ግብአቶች የተገኙበት ነበር፡፡

በመጨረሻም ማእከላችን በሀገራችን ባሉ አምስት ከፍተኛ የትምህርት ተቋማት ማለትም (በአዳማ ሳይንስና ቴክኖሎጂ


ዩኒቨርሲቲ፣በአዲስ አበባ፣በባህር ዳር፣በአዋሳ እና በመቀሌ ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች) የስራ ፈጠራ የልቀት ማእከላትን ማቋቋም ተችሏል፡፡

ፈጠራ ለኢኮኖሚ እድገት የተሰኙት የቁርስ ስብሰባዎች

የኢንተርፕርነሩሺፕ ልማት ማእከል (ኢዲሲ) ባለፈው አንድ አመት ውስጥ ሁለት የተለያዩ የቁርስ ስብሰባዎችን ከባለድርሻ አካላት ጋር ማድረግ የተቻለ ሲሆን እነዚህም ስበሰባዎች በሴቶች የስራ ፈጠራና በገጠር የሀይል ልማት ቴክኖሎጂ ስነምህዳር ላይ ያተኮሩ ነበሩ፡፡

ማርች 8 ቀን 2016 ዓ.ም የተከበረውን የአለም አቀፍ የሴቶች ቀንን ምክንያት በማድረግ በማእካላችን የተዘጋጀውና ‹‹ፕላኔት 50-50 በ2030 ፡ለጾታዊ እኩልነት እንትጋ›› በሚል መርህ የተከበረውን ይህንን በአል ሴቶችን በ2030 ዓ.ም ለጾታዊ እኩልነትን ለማስፈን የተያዘውን ግብ መሰረት ያደረገ ነው፡፡በዚህም እለት የተዘጋጀው የቁርስ ስብሰባ ሴት የስራ ፈጣሪዎች ያአቸውን እድሎችና እያጋጠሟቸው ያሉትን ተግዳሮቶች የዳሰሱ ነበሩ፡፡ከስበሰባው ታዳሚዎች ማካከል ዶ/ር እመዛት መንገሻ በአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ መምህርና የስነ ጾታ የትምህርት ክፍል ሃላፊ፣ወ/ሮ ሙሉ ሎሪ የኤ ደብሊው ኢ ፒ ምክትል ፕሬዚዳንት፣ወ/ሪት ሂወት ጋሻው የአቡጊዳ ፋሽን ባለበቤትን የ2015 የአመቱ ምርጥ ስራ ፈጣሪ ተሸላሚ እና ወ/ሮ የልፍኝ አበጋዝ የተባበሩት መንግስታት ሴቶች ፕሮግራም አስተባባሪ ይገኙበታል፡፡

የፕሮግራሙ አላክ የነበረውና የሴት ስራ ፈጣሪዎች የስራ ውጤት የቀረበበት አውደ ርእይ አንዱ ሲሆን በአውደ ርእዩ የተለያዪ የሴቶች የስራ ውጤት የሆኑ የቤት ውስጥ መገልገያዎች የምግብ ውጤቶች ልዩና ሀይል ቆጣቢ ማብሰያ ምጣዶችና ሌሎች ለቤት ውስጥ አገልግሎት የሚውሉ የምርት ውጤቶች ቀርበውበታል፡፡

ሌላው በማእከሉ ከተዘጋጁት የቁርስ ስብሰባዎች መካከል አንዱ የሆነው ዘጠነኛው ፈጠራ ለእድገት በሚል መርህ የተዘጋጀው ስበሰባ ነው፡፡ይህ ፕሮግራም በዋነኛነት መሰረት ያደረገው በሀገሪቱ ያለውን የገጠር የሀይል አቅርቦት ቴክኖሎጂዎች ላይ ሲሆን ተሳታፊዎችም በዘርፉ ያለውን የስራ እድሎችና የስራ ፈጣሪዎችን አቅም ማሳደግ ስለሚቻልበት መንገድና አቅም ግንባታ የሚበረታቱበትን መንገድ ያሳየ

ነበር፡፡

በማይክሮሶፍት የስራ ሀላፊዎች ስልጠናና የተግባር ላይ እርዳታ

የተሰጣቸው ወጣት የስራ ፈጣሪዎችማይክሮሶፍት ፎር አፍሪካ ከስራ ፈጠራ ልማት ፕሮግራም ጋር

የአቅም ግንባታ ለመስጠት የተስማማው በ2014 ዓ.ም ነበር፡፡

በዚህም ስምምነት መሰረት አጠቃላይ ቁጥራቸው 59 የሚደርሱ የስራ ፈጣሪዎች በሚያዝያ 2016 በተካሄደው በሁለተኛው የንግድ ስራዎን ይገንቡ (ቢ ዋይ ቢ) ስልጠና የተሳተፉ ሲሆን እነዚህም ሰልጣኞች በአዲስ አበባው የማእከሉ ዋና መስሪያ ቤትና በመቀሌ ማስተባባሪያ ጽ/ቤቱ ስልጠናው እንዲካፈሉ የተደረገ ሲሆን ከዚህ ትንሽ ቀደም ብሎ በ2015 በሀዋሳና በባህር ዳር ይህው ስልጠና ለመስጠት ተቸሏል፡፡ይህ ስልጠና የሚያተኩረው በራሳቸው ስራ ውስጥ ያሉትን ስራ ፈጣሪዎች እንዴት በገበያ ውስጥ መቆየት እንደሚችሉ እና ገና ወደ ስራ ለመግባት ለተዘጋጁ የወደፊት ስራ ፈጣሪዎች ደግሞ የሚጋጥሟቸውን ተግዳሮቶች እንዴት መቋቋም እንደሚችሉ የክህሎት ግንዛቤ መስጠት ላይ ያተኮረ ሲሆን ከደቡብ አፍሪካና ከሰሜን አሜሪካ በተውጣጡ የማይክሮሶፍት ባለሙያዎች የተሰጠ ነበር፡፡

ከዚህም በተጨማሪ በዚሁ አመት በግንቦትና በሰኔ ወራት ከአውሮፓና ከእስያ በመጡ የማይክሮሶፍት ባለሙያዎች ለማእከሉ ደንበኞች የስራ ላይ ልምምድና ክትትል ተደርጎላቸዋል፡፡ክትትሉ በተለያዩ የስራ ዘርፎች ላይ ያተኮረ ሲሆን ከእነዚህም መካከል በፋሽን፣በአገልግሎት መስጫ፣በመዝናኛ ማእከላት አስተዳደር፣በማህበራዊ ድህረ ገጾች ገበያ፣በድህረ ገጽ ዳሰሳና በደንበኞች አስተዳደር ላይ በማተኮር ለወጣትና ሴት ኢንተርፕርነርሺፕ ስልጠናና ክትትል ለመስጠት የተቻለ ሲሆን ባለሙያዎችም በአዲስ አበባ፣በአዳማ፣በባህርዳር በመቀሌና በሀዋሳ ስራ ፈጣሪዎችን ተዘዋውረው የጎበኙ ሲሆን በአጠቃላይም 32 ለሚጠጉ የስራ ፈጠራ ልምት ማእከላችንን ደንበኞች በአካል ለማግኘት ችልዋል፡፡ከዚህም በተጨማሪ ሁለት የማይክሮሶፍት ባለሙያዎች የአቅም ግንባታ ስልጠና ለማእከላችን ባለሙያዎችና ለተባበሩት መንግስታት የልማት ፕሮግራም ሰራተኞች በደንበኞች አገልግሎት አስተዳደር እና ያመር በተባለው የማይክሮሶፍት ኮርፖሬት ህዝብ ግንኙነት መሳሪያ ላይ ስልጠና መስጠት ተችሏል፡፡

የንግድ ስራ ልማት የማማከር አገልግሎት የሚሰጠውን የስራ ክፍል

በድጋሚ ማዋቀር

ተቋማችን የስራ ፈጠራ ልማት ማእከል ከሚሰጣቸው አገልግሎቶች መካካል የንግድ ስራ ልማት የማማከር አገልግሎት ሲሆን የስራ ፈጠራ ስልጠና ለወሰዱና ወደስራ ለመግባት ላሰቡ ወይም ለገቡ የማእከላችን ደንበኞች የሚሰጥ አገልግሎት ሲሆን ይህንን አገልግሎት በተሸለ ተደራሽነትና በቅልጥፍና ለመስጠት እንዲያስችል የህንን የስራ ክፍል ማደራጀት አስፈልጓል፡፡ከሀገር ውስጥና ከሌሎች አለም አቀፍ ተቋማት ከተገኘ ልምድ በመነሳት ይህንን አገልግሎት በአዲስ መልክ በቡድን ስብሰባዎችና አንድ-ለአንድ የስራ ቦታ ክትትልን በጋራ በመጠቀም ለደንበኞች የተሻለ አገልግሎት ለመስጠት የሚስችል ነው፡፡

የቡድን ስልጠናው በዋነኛነት ትኩረት የሚያደርገው ለማእከሉ ደንበኞች የስራ እቅድ /የቢዝነስ ፕላን /አዘገጃጀትን በተመለከተ የሂሳብ አያያዝ፣የሰራተኞች አስተዳር፣ሽያጭ ስራ አመራር እና መነሻ የሚሆን የስራ መሳሪያዎችን የተመለከተ ነው፡፡የማእከላችን ደንበኛ የሆኑ ሰልጣኞች ለቡድን ስልጠናው ብቁ የሚሆኑት የስራ ፈጠራ ልማት ማእከሉ የሚሰጠውን ስልጠና ሲያጠናቅቁ ነው፡፡ከዚህ በተጨማሪ ደንበኞች ለአንድ-ለአንድ የስራ ላይ ክትትል ማመልከት የሚችሉት ስልጠናቸውን ከማጠናቀቅ ባሻገር የንግድ ስራ መጀመር ያለባቸው ሲሆን ይህንን ስራቸውን ለማሳደግ፣ተጨማሪ ቅርንጫፍ ለመክፈት፣ገበያን ሰብሮ ለመግባትና ስራቸውን ወደሌላ ምእራፍ ለማሳደግ እንዲያስችላቸው የሚሰጥ ድጋፍ ነው፡፡

በአጠቃላይም ሁሉም ሰልጣኞችና የስራ ላይ ልምምድ/ክትትል የተደረገላቸው የማእከላችን ደንበኞች የገበያ ልምት አገልግሎት ተጠቃሚዎች ናቸው፡፡

በተባበሩት መንግስታት ድርጅት የንግድና የእድገት ፕሮግራም/

አንክታድ/በቁጥር አስራ ዘጠኝ የሚሆኑ የስራ ፈጠራ አሰልጣኞች

በማእከላችን በተመቻቸላቸው የልዩ ስልጠና እድል መሰረት ለአንድ አመት ያህል በዘለቀው ስልጠና ከተሳተፉ በኋላ በአንክታድ የተረጋገጠ የምስክር ወረቀት እንዲሰጣቸው ተደርጓል፡፡ይህንን ስልጠና የሰጡት ባለሙያዎች ከአዲስ አበባ ፣መቀሌ፣ወለጋ፣ሀዋሳ ባህርዳርና አለማያ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የተቀውጣጡ ባለሙያዎች ሲሆኑ በተለለያዩ የንግድ ስራ ላይ የተሰማሩም ባለሙያዎች ይገኙበታል፡፡

ለሁለት ጊዜ በተከናወነውና እንዳንዱ አምስት አምስት ቀናት በወሰደው የምዘናና የማረጋገጥ ስራ ሰልጣኖች ጥልቅ የሆነ የስራ ፈጠራና የንግድ ስራ ክህሎት ስልጠና ተሰጥቷቸዋል፡፡አሰልጣኞችም ለአለም አቀፍ ተሞክሮ ያላቸውን ተጋላጭነት ያሰፋ ሲሆን በዚህም በአለም አቀፍ ደረጃ ብቁ አሰልጣን መሆን የሚያስላቸውን ምዘናና ተጨማሪ ስልጠናዎች ካገኙ በኋላ ይህንን የሚያረጋግጥ የምስክር ወረቀት ይሰጣቸዋል፡፡

ከደቡብ ኣፍሪካ እና አሜሪካ የመጡ የማይክሮሶፍት ባለሙያዎች የራስ ቢዝነስን መገንባት በሚል በአዲስ አበባ በተዘጋጀ ስልጠና ላይ

ፕሮግራም በጋራ ባዘጋጁትን በግንቦት 19 ቀን 2008 ዓ.ም በተዘጋጀው ፕሮግራም የስራ ፈጠራ ልምት ፕሮግራም (ኢዲፒ) የያዘውና በ2016 ዓ.ም በሚጠናቀቀው የሶስት አመታት የማእከሉን የስራ አፈጻጸም ሂደትና ስኬቶቹን በጥልቀት የገመገመ ነበር፡፡በፕሮግራሙ የተለለያዩ ስራ ፈጣሪዎች ያመረቷቸውንና በአጠቃላይ ያቀረቧቸውን ምርቶችና አገልግሎቶች የከተማ እድገትና የቤቶች ልማት ሚኒስቴር ሚኒስትር አቶ መኩሪያ ሀይሌ በበተገኙበት የተጎበኙ ከመሆኑም በላይ ስራ ፈጣሪዎች ከማእከላችን ያገኙትን የስልጠናና የንግድ ማማከር አገልግሎት ምን ያህል እንደጠቀማቸው ልምዳቸውን ያካፈሉ ከመሆኑም በላይ አውደ ርእዩ የወሰዱትን ስልጠና በተግባር ለመፈተሸ ያስቻላቸውና ያመረቱትን ምርቶችም በፕሮግራሙ ለተሳተፉ ታዳሚዎች መሸጥ አስችሏቸዋል፡፡
