We are Japanese and Ameri-cans committed to building and strengthening the ties between not just those living and working in Ohio, but also between our two remarkable countries.

We are neighbors and corporate leaders, students and educators, we are every age and have many faces. We are bonded together by the belief that through greater exchange of culture, knowledge, experi-ences, and ideas between Japan and the United States, the benefit is not only to ourselves but people the world over.

Through our signature programs, like the Ohio Japanese Language Speech Contest, and other community outreach events and initia-tives, JASCO is proud to be a part of the Central Ohio community and to serve its wide and varied needs.

JSO provides a meeting ground for Ohio State University Students, both Japanese and not, who are interested in the Japanese language and culture. It is a place for cultures to cross and for members to learn new things. We hold events, which showcase specific aspects of Japanese culture, helping to provide cultural awareness to the community. Comprised of more than 60 companies, the Central Ohio Japanese Association of Commerce (COJAC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to bridging the gap between Japanese and American cultures by

building business cooperation, promoting mutual friendship and the exchange of information in Central Ohio.
