Acts 19

I. Jesus is Stronger Than Demons (11-12).

Acts 19What do demons do?• Kill and destroy (1 Peter 5:8).• Cause insanity (Mark 5:1-20).• Cause diseases like

muteness, blindness, and epilepsy (Matt 9:33; Matt 12:22; Matt 17:15-18).

• Inspire false teaching (1 Tim 4:1).

Acts 19Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Ephesians 6:11-12

For indeed Jews ask for signs and Greeks search for wisdom; but we preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block and to Gentiles foolishness, but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
