With your SPM examinations over, I won't blame you if you spend your hours playing games onyour Wii or shopping. Perhaps you might even consider going on a back-to-back makan dateswith friends as your top priority. After having to buckle down to some heavy-duty studying foryour SPM, all these activities can be regarded as well-deserved.

However, in the midst of enjoying your holidays and new-found freedom, it is important not tolose focus of the fact that your education has not yet come full circle. After all, your aspiration of

becoming a chief surgeon in the future or any other occupation will not just magically come true.There are still several steps you have to take to get there. Your first and most important step atthe moment will be choosing your pre-university course.

With so many pre-university courses available today, you are spoilt for choice. It isunderstandable if you find the task of choosing the right course, daunting. Some questions youcan ask yourself while making your decision:

1. Do I cope better in an exam-orientated course or a coursework-inclined course?2. What is my personality like? (eg am I an introvert, an extrovert, etc)3. What are my strengths and weaknesses?4. Where do I want to pursue my undergraduate degree,in a local publicuniversity or a private university? If I choose a private
