News Release October 2013 DWF take part in Sponsored Skydive for Children’s Charity A team of partners and paralegals from business law firm DWF have raised over £6,800 for Leeds Children’s Charity through a sponsored skydive at Bridlington, East Yorkshire. The team, which included Sean Casey, Ben Green, James Haddleton, Sorelle Hartley, Amanda Hewitt, Ryan Hinnells, Nazia Iqbal, David McCracken, Philip Middleton and Megan Williams, took on the challenge, diving from 12,000 feet and reaching speeds of around 120mph. Inspired by the work done by Leeds Children’s Charity, the teams nominated charity, they raised a significant amount of money which will be used to provide holiday schemes for children from the most deprived areas of Leeds. With a personal connection to Leeds Children’s Charity, the team was motivated to raise as much money as possible through a daring and exhilarating challenge. The charities projects are supported and endorsed by families, school teachers, social workers and youth workers. DWF’s executive partner in Leeds, James Haddleton comments: “At DWF we empower our people to develop professionally through actively participating in CSR activities and projects, they are encouraged to transfer their skills and expertise to those who need support”. A representative from the charity commented on the donation, “We are very appreciative for the donation as this money is vital to the charity. We are grateful to the many people from DWF in Leeds who have donated their time,

DWF take part in Sponsored Skydive for Children’s Charity

A team of partners and paralegals from business law firm DWF have raised over £6,800 for Leeds

Children’s Charity through a sponsored skydive at Bridlington, East Yorkshire.

The team, which included Sean Casey, Ben Green, James Haddleton, Sorelle Hartley, Amanda He-

witt, Ryan Hinnells, Nazia Iqbal, David McCracken, Philip Middleton and Megan Williams, took on the

challenge, diving from 12,000 feet and reaching speeds of around 120mph. Inspired by the work done

by Leeds Children’s Charity, the teams nominated charity, they raised a significant amount of money
