Stimson will be one of the sponsors of the National Meeting for Moral Rearmament to be held at Constitution Hall at 8:30 p.m. Sunday, it was announced today. Other names added to the list were those of Senator Carter Glass, i Senator M. M. Logan. Senator Sherman Minton. Senator Pat Har- rison. Senator Elbert D. Thomas, Representative Caroline O'Day, I Representative Colgate W. Darden,1 Jr.: Representative Carl Hinshaw, MaJ. and Mrs. Ernest W. Brown. Mr. and Mrs. Neville Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Sands, Mrs. Henry Alvah Strong. Mrs. Harold Walker, Mr. and Mrs. G. Gould Lincoln, Col. and Mrs. Edwin A. Halsey, Mr. and Mrs. Cleveland E. Dodge. Delegations from other cities are arriving today, and foreign guests ere expected to reach Washington tomorrow. Broadcast to Emrlanri Arrangements have been made, it was reported last night, for Dr. Frank Buchman, founder of the Moral Rearmament movement, to broadcast to England on Sunday morning. He will speak to meetings in London, Liverpool and elsewhere the occasion being the first anni- versary of the beginning of the campaign for a spiritual awaken- ing in the interests of world peace and brotherhood. Explaining his ideal, Dr. Buch- man said yesterday, 'Moral re- armament is precisely what Presi- dent Roosevelt calls 'the underlying strength of citizenship.' it will re- arm people and nations against sel- fish and divisive points of view. Mankind will move civilization on to a new epoch where fear and misery, hunger and degradation are words of meaning only to philologi- cal students of a well-dead past. “We need a power strong enough to change human nature and build bridges between man and man, fac- tion and faction. This starts when everyorfe admits his own faults in- stead of spotlighting the other fel- | low s. But God alone can change human nature. The secret lies in that great forgotten truth that when man listens, God speaks; when man obeys, God acts; when men change, nations change. That power, active in a minority, can be the solvent of a whole country's prob- lems. One leader changed, a na- tions thinking changed, a world at peace with itself. r.nouKn for Every One's Need. Md„ June 2.—A military parade will feature the dedication of Rockville's new $75,000 post office now in course of con- struction. it has been announced by Dr. George L. Edmonds, postmaster, who heads the General Committee of Arrangements. Spanish-American and World War veterans, units of the Maryland National Guard, the local marine organization and the bugle corps of the Barber-Briggs American Legion Post. Gaithersburg, will be in line. It also is planned to have Boy and Girl Scouts of the county march. Roger Shaw, commander of the Wingfield Scott Schley Camp ot Spanish-American War Veterans, is in charge.
