The Responsible Leadership Summit is an engaging and inspiring conference; a mixture of keynote speakers, panel discussions, skill building workshops, and networking opportunities.

Letter From The DirectorDear Potential Partner,

Our world today needs leaders that are both ready and willing to tackle our most pressing social needs such as poverty, health care, human rights, education, civic engagement and the environment.

Queen’s School of Business (QSB) Centre for Responsible Leadership is helping to meet this demand by preparing the next generation of responsible leaders. We do this in many ways, including hosting the Responsible Leadership Summit - our flagship annual event.

Each year, we design an engaging and inspiring conference program that brings together leading academics and practitioners to expose delegates to a variety of issues and topics in the area of Responsible Leadership. This two-day Summit is a mixture of keynote speakers, panel discussions, skill building workshops and networking opportunities designed to educate and inspire delegates to be effective and responsible leaders both in their careers and in their local communities.

Over the past nine years, the Summit has grown into a truly world class conference attracting an exceptional line up of speakers and over 275 delegates from across our Commerce, MBA and Master of International Business programs, as well as QSB alumni and members of the public.

The 10th Annual Responsible Leadership Summit will be held on Queen’s campus October 17-18th, 2014 and I would like to invite you to consider joining us as a Corporate Sponsor.

Thank you for giving consideration to supporting the 10th Annual Responsible Leadership Summit. It is only with the generous support of our sponsors that we are able to put together such an exceptional program and provide such an incredible learning and networking opportunity for our students.

Dr. Tina Dacin Director, QSB Centre for Responsible Leadership, E. Marie Shantz Chaired Professor of Strategy & Organizational Behavior

“The Responsible Leadership Summit allowed me to see that I don’t have to choose between these two passions, business and social work; in fact they work extremely well together.”

Our Focus Areas:

Integrity Ethics, Values, Transparency & Courage

Innovation Social Innovation & Social Entrepreneurship

Impact Sustainability, Community Leadership & Outreach

The Centre offers students in Queen’s Commerce, full time MBA, Accelerated MBA, Executive MBA and Master of International Business programs the opportunity to earn a Certificate in Responsible Leadership in addition to their degree. Participating students gain in-depth exposure to issues and challenges of responsible leadership through a combination of coursework, attending conferences and events, and involvement in community outreach activities.

Students from all of these programs attend the Summit as part of their Certificate requirements.
