INTER CLUB COUNCIL MEETING #'1f MARCH 22,1988

MINUTES

I. The meeting was called to order at 12:11.

II. Absent were Cycling Club. French Club ,Jewish Student Union .. Veterans

and United Native American.

I I I. The agenda was approved as amended.

IV. The minutes were approved as amended .

V. Reports:

A. Vice President Katherine Syro Boyarsky reported that the best dub

went to T.E.C. Furthurmore applications are already being accepted for this

month 's best dub. FinaJJy Katherine congratulated Jamie Starmer on the

arrival of his new son.

B. Activities advisor. Jamie Starmer, thanked everyone for their welJ

wishes. Jamie announced that Toyas. a Andes folk group originating from

Fairbanks Alaska, will be playing in the coop today.

C. C.S .A. representative. Chris Calm. announced that C.S.A. will be

discussing a HeaHh Fee in the next meeting. In other news Stephen Shepard.

Election com missioner ,asked to send out all elected officers to explain their

job duties.

A. It was moved that the Jewish Student Union and the French dub to be

A. 1t was moved to allow the young Republkans and the young Democrats

I. The meeting was called to order at 12:11 .

A. Vice President Katherine Syro Boyarsky asked for applications for

best club. In addition she asked for volunteers for the upcoming book sale.

B. Activities advisor, Jamie Starmer. complimented the amount of people

running for office. Furthurmore he asked people to show up at the Naca

spring drive in at U.C. Davis and to volunteer at the used book store.

C. C.S.A. representative, Chris Calm. announced Cinco de Mayo presentation

by Poppy Creek. In other news Stephen Shepard, Election com missioner

asked to send out all elected officers to explain their job duties.

VI. Club Constitutions:

A. It was moved that the Jewish Student Union be reacticvated

A. Vice President Katherine Syro-Boyarsky asked people to show up at

the Naca Drive-In on April 30.

B. Activities Advisor, Jamie Starmer, said he appreciated clubs that

diligently attend. He also listed key dates in the upcoming weeks including

the Naca Drive-In April 30. And, again, .Jamie asked people to sign up to

work during the Used Book Fair.

C. C.S.A. representative, Chris Calm, announced that on April 22. in the coop

patio there will be a deL1ate for A.S.B. candidates. Also C.S.A. c!ecidcd to vote

the Health fee policy. Finally, Chris slated tbat because of hca1tl1 reasons l1c

has to resign from his position as liason between I.C.C. and C.S.A.

It was moved to reactivate the Native American Club.

posters for Israel's Independence Day.

D. The Young Democrat. Club asked to have a representative from the

A. Vice President Katherine Syro-Boyarsky encourged people to

volunteer for election polls. She gave out the best club of the month award to

three clubs: Aggies, T .E.C. and Alpha Gamma Sigma.

B. Activities Advisor, Jamie Starmer, asked people to attend the Benefit for

the Jesse Peter Memorial museum. The musical guest '\Alill be Bill Miller. In

other news he asked people to volenteer for the Blood drive.

bookstore.

second to last meeting, the best club a 'Ward is due today . Gave out best club

for month of April to Kent Hall.

B. Activities Advisor, James N. Starmer, reported that there was a total of 61

pints of blood given at tl1e blood drive. Did Bill Miller concert tile same day

and thanked C for doing a fabulous job selling cassette. Asked how much

money each group made at Day under the Oaks. Lastly, reported to date

til ere had been approx.150 Boat dance tickets sold . . ' ..
