SPS IPC Drives is Europe‘s leading exhibition on the topic of electric

automation. With its clear focus the exhibition offers the ideal platform

for visitors to get comprehensively informed on electric automation.

One of the very special attributes of SPS IPC Drives is the distinct

working climate which is prominent at the exhibition booths and which

makes the exhibition stand out. Exhibitors meet extremely

knowledgeable visitors here who in intensive dialog with the exhibitors

seek and find practical solutions for their tasks. Many product

innovations celebrate their premier at the exhibition.

SPS IPC Drives covers the entire spectrum of electric automation. It

exhibits all of the components up to complete systems and integrated

»The place to be for controls and drives technology in Europe. The rising internatio-

nal participants prove that the exhibition's importance increased inside and outside

Europe.«

»“It is fun, it is fantastic, SPS IPC Drives is a great finish of the year. Much more

important though, it is a good indicator that the coming year will also be a positive

one.

For Turck the automation show SPS IPC Drives has an outstanding relevance

regarding market communication.

We have been attending for 12 years and are amazed at the event´s enormous

development.

At the beginning, nobody would have thought that an automation trade fair would

become so distinct, that the customers would become so keen on coming here.

It is a fix date in each and everyone´s calendar, more and more also on an internatio-

nal level. SPS IPC Drives is a high speed event with no holdup times for us.”«

»When talking about automation, SPS IPC Drives is definitely the place to be. Most

visitors are key decision-makers in the industry and the overall experience exceeded

our expectations. We will be back.«

»We moved to Hall 11 with the intention of giving the visitors even better orientation

on our booth. Before the show we were a little tense of whether the new hall concept

would work out. But already at 10 am on the first day it was clear that it did. Ever-

ything was just fine, not least due to the help of Mesago. We are completely happy,

and so are our visitors. For the future of SPS IPC Drives, we hope that the already

growing share of international visitors will continue to rise. This is the leading expert

tradeshow, second to none.«

»SPS IPC Drives is the grand finale of each exhibition year. The atmosphere and

openness of the exhibitors as well as the variety of product presentations complete

the show's concept effectively.«

Once again the SPS IPC Drives conference, which was held

concurrently to the exhibition, provided the perfect platform to

exchange knowledge between experts and users from the industry.

The conference commitee chose among the numerous submissions

48 best lectures for the conference programm. Speeches about topics

like „Automation Cloud“ or „Energieeffizienz und

Energiemanagement“ as well as the panel discussion „Chancen und

Grenzen von Industrie 4.0" offered an extensive variety of subjects as

well as new insights at the end of the year to the 253 conference

attendees.

The two free of charge keynotes , „Big Date“ and „Unkonventionelle

Antriebe und Smart Materials“, which showed innovative solutions for

different automation tasks, were one of the highlights. Another special

event was the award ceremony of the „Innovationspreis der

Auomatisierungsindustrie“. Three speakers below the age of 35 have

been awarded for the best contribution.

In times of intensive competition, the 48 lectures, two keynotes as

well as the panel discussion provide the 253 conference attendees

with the decisive advantage of knowledge.
