A government spokes- man said this was decided in a high-level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti. As per the decision, an entrepreneur would be required to fill up a single- page declaration form instead of going after depart- ments for issuance of NoCs before starting a unit. How- ever, the applicant would have to seek NoCs from the Pollution Control Board and Ensure smooth Amarnath yatra: Governor to security agencies Srinagar, May 15: J&K Governor NN Vohra on Monday directed all secu- rity agencies to keep a sustained close watch and maintain effective coordi- nation to ensure smooth conduct of forthcoming Amarnath Yatra. The state administration is gearing up for the meeting in a big way. The General Administration Department on Monday appointed 69 KAS officers as liaison officers for the meeting. They include four special sec- retaries, 10 additional secretaries, 15 deputy secretaries and 40 under secretaries. Also, the government issued an order saying the vehicles, which had been drawn from different departments in connection with the North Zone Region- al Conference, would be retained till May 20 for the GST Council meeting’s transport needs. The Council is headed by Union finance minister Arun Jaitley and comprises finance ministers of all states and Union Territories. “It is a big event. The two neighbours last faced off at the ICJ 18 years ago when Islamabad sought its intervention over the shooting down of its naval aircraft. India took the Jadhav case to the world court, accus- ing Pakistan of violating the Vienna Convention and con- ducting a "farcical trial" for convicting Jadhav without a "shred of evidence".
