HIRLAM: many, but no speaker

- Same areas of interest are still valid:

semi-Lagrangian issues (conservation, positiveness)

physico-dynamics interface is a reactivated subject

- All NH models for NWP are in Euler system

- Re-emerging subject of discussion:

Euler : non-symmetric solvers or iterated implicit schemes?

ECMWF+Aladin+UKMO vs.COSMO and US people

• Proposal of joint discussions/experiments:

- idea: work in common on very specific

scientific statements of declared interest

- bi- or tri-lateral cooperations are planned

- The inquiry was released in march 2004

- 5 replies with proposal of common studies

- now the concrete cooperations must be built
