The Hearts and Hands Ministry assists with receptions provided for family members after a funeral Mass or a memorial Mass. It’s vital that families dealing with the loss of a loved one, have a place to gather for fellowship after the funeral mass.

Our ministry is made of all volunteers who assist in preparing and serving at each reception. We have about 40 to 50 volunteers helping in these activities.

Hearts and Hands volunteers are called a few at a time to handle specifi c tasks at each reception. For example, some volunteers might be called upon to bring food, such as sandwiches, salads, or deserts. Other volunteers might be called upon to set everything up and/or serve food and/or clean up.

If you can spare an hour or two, Hearts and Hands would love to have you join our ministry. Please call Vera Ronzano (479-7575), Marlene Schmidt (476-0861) or Sharlene Hedgepeth (234-0676).
