ser parte de una comunidad Católica y un compromiso a la vida de
esa parroquia. Ser un miembro inscrito de la parroquia te
facilitará los preparativos cuando llegue el tiempo de pedir un
bautismo, la inscripción al catecismo, las bodas, cuando te piden
que seas un padrino o madrina en un bautismo y hasta en los
funerales.
En varias ocasiones nos piden cartas de affidávit para padrinos
o madrinas de Bautismo, Comunión o Confirmación. Sólo podemos
proveerle cartas a los miembros de la parroquia que conocemos, los
que están inscritos, activos, y contribuyendo a la parroquia. ¿Cómo
sabe usted que está inscrito? Un miembro inscrito recibe
correspondencia de la parroquia.
¿Eres miembro inscrito de la parroquia? Si no lo es, por favor
inscríbase. Únicamente tiene que ir a la Oficina Parroquial y pedir
que se le registre.

Have you registered? Registration is very important, is a
statement of your desire to be members of a Catholic community and
a commitment to the life of this parish. Being a registered member
of the parish will ease the process when it’s time to ask for a
Baptism, Religious Education, Weddings, when they ask you to be a
sponsor, godfather or godmother; or at the occasion of illness or
death.
Often, people ask for letter of affidavit and those can only be
provided to members who are registered, active, and contributing to
the parish. How do
you know if you are registered? A registered member receives
correspondence from the parish. If you're not, please register. Our
registration process can be completed anytime the office is
open.

clases para Primera Comunión.
Los jóvenes que cumplen 12 años en el 2018 y ya hayan recibido

Confirmación.
Los jóvenes y adultos mayores de 17 años (o que los cumplan en
el 2018) que necesitan algún sacramento (Bautismo, Comunión y/o
Confirmación), pueden inscribirse en la clase de RICA.
Los niños y jóvenes que deseen asistir al programa, deben ya
saber las oraciones básicas (Padrenuestro, Ave María y Gloria) al
momento de ser inscritos. Deben venir con sus padres el día de la
inscripción para ser evaluados.

It’s time again to register your children for Religious
Education classes. Wednesday, July 25, 2018
from 4:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
(Additional dates for registration will take place in the
summer) In order to enroll your child / children in our program,
families have to be registered parishioner and: Bring a copy of
your child / children baptism record (or birth record if not
baptized). Children who turn 7 years old in 2018 may start classes
for First Communion.
Teens who turn 12 years old in 2018 and have already received
their First Holy Communion (bring proof), may start classes for
Confirmation.
Young adults older than 17 years old, may be enroll in RCIA (for
those who need Baptism, First Communion, and/or Confirmation).
Children, teens and adults who will be enrolled need to be
present at registration to be tested for the basic prayers (Our
Father, Hail Mary & Glory Be).
Tuition:
$140.00 per one child
$190.00 per two children
$240.00 per three or more children
Tuition must be paid in full at the
time of registration.

St. Ansgar’s Significant Milestones…
Fifty years ago, on July 7, 1968, Fr. Jerome Riordan celebrated
his first Mass as the pastor of the new parish which had not yet
received the formal name of St. Ansgar, in the auditorium of Teft
Junior High School in Streamwood.

Hace cincuenta años, el 7 de julio de 1968, el Padre Jerome
Riordan, celebró su primera Misa como Párroco de la una nueva
Iglesia, en el auditorio de la Escuela Teft, de Streamwood. Aún no
recibía el nombre formal de San Ansgar.
El sábado 25 de agosto, habrá dos Misas para celebrar el Jubileo
de Oro, en inglés a las 5:00 p.m. y en español a las 6:30 p.m. Más
adelante en el boletín, se les dará información sobre las Misas de
ese día.

25th, 5:00 P.M. and 6:30 P.M. regular Mass times. More information
on the Jubilee Masses and other festivities will be published in
the bulletin as the date draws closer.
