20 Domingo del Tiempo Ordinarios

Mientras continuamos desarrollando nuestro entendimiento de la Eucaristía, nuestras lecturas de hoy nos exhortan a buscar la sabiduría de Dios para poder reconocer esta verdad divina. En la primera lectura del libro de los Proverbios, la sabiduría nos llama a comer de su pan y beber de su vino. En la segunda lectura, San Pablo nos

aconseja no ser irreflexivos y nos dice que tratemos “de entender cuál es la voluntad de Dios”. No debemos vivir “como insensatos, sino como prudentes, aprovechando el momento presente”. Tener conocimiento, sabiduría y entendimiento junto con la dirección del Espíritu Santo son instrumentos necesarios para poder reconocer a Jesucristo en nuestra fe, y en nuestro mundo. No queremos ser como los judíos que discutieron entre sí mismos, sino que queremos ser

fieles servidores del Señor. Este intelecto es parte de nuestra Nueva Evangelización, y en nuestra parroquia se ofrecen oportunidades de formación ofrecidas todas las semanas para niños y adultos. Esta formación nos ayuda en nuestro conocimiento de Jesucristo y su Iglesia. Estas oportunidades también ayudan en el crecimiento de la iglesia domestica: la familia. La familia es el primer lugar para el desarrollo personal, y como cristianos, nosotros creemos que este desarrollo personal debe de ser fundado en una vida Cristiana. Esta semana, interroguemos ¿en que formas llevamos la Nueva Evangelización a nuestros hogares?

Sunday in Ordinary Time

As we continue to develop our understanding of the Eucharist, our readings today exhort us to seek wisdom from God in order to recognize the divine truth of Jesus presence. In the first reading from the book of Proverbs, wisdom calls us to eat her food and drink her wine. In our second reading, St. Paul advises us to not be ignorant, but to “try to understand what is the will of the Lord.” We cannot live “as foolish persons, but as wise, making the most of the opportunity [to live].” Knowledge, wisdom and understanding, along with guidance from the Holy Spirit, are necessary tools that help us recognize Jesus Christ in our own faith and in the world around us. We do not want to be like the Jews who quarreled and doubted, but faithful servants to the Lord. This intellect is a part of our New Evangelization, and opportunities are offered in our parish every week for both children and adults to form our knowledge of Jesus Christ and His Church. These opportunities allow growth for the domestic church: the family. The family is the first place for personal development, and as Christians we believe that this personal development should be founded on a Christian life. This week, let us ask ourselves: in what ways are we bringing the New Evangelization into our homes?

Agosto 12, comenzamos clases a las 7:00 PM, con una Misa Bilingüe.

Aun estamos recibiendo alumnos, aquí en Santa Catalina de Siena. Queremos compartir el gozo de tener a Jesús en nuestras Vidas, con todos los niños, jóvenes y sus padres. Horas de inscripción son: de las 10:00 a.m. a las 4:00 p.m. de Lunes a Viernes. Contribución anual: $60.00 por estudiante. Contribución de Preparación Sa-cramental: $30.00 por Estudiante.

Documentos Necesarios para la inscripción son: Certificado de Bautismo, y de Nacimiento. Ven te esperamos con los brazos abiertos.
