Welcome from Head Boy and Head Girl Dear Applicant, Firstly, we are very thankful for you showing interest in our school. We are very proud to attend this school and have seen a lot of development over the previous years, and we look forward to seeing what other changes and improvements another type of leadership could bring to enhance the potential the school has to offer. As a school, we like a Headteacher who can help us provide strong GCSE and A-Level results to allow all the students a supported career path. Also we would like to have someone that can help us be involved with the community more by putting out core values into use on a more daily basis. We would also like a Headteacher who is enthusiastic, approachable and would like to be involved in extra -curricular activities. This will enable a greater bond with teachers and students forming trusting relationships, which will help create the future leaders of today. One of our main strengths as a school is that we can cater for students with a range of abilities and would like to know what you can bring to the table regarding this. We believe that everyone is entitled to a fair and high quality education and we are looking for someone to mentor so that we can become champions both inside and out of the school. St Cuthbert Mayne offers us a healthy balance between a social and educational environment which we believe a solid foundation our school has built over the previous years. We hope, as a Headteacher, that you are able to continue this structure and build on its areas of weakness that you may find. Due to St Cuthbert Mayne being a school built on Christian values, we understand the importance of Christian teachings and believe that they are vital teaching tools to help us look after our school community and would like more to be introduced to create a more positive working and learning environment. To conclude, we look forward to hearing what you can offer the school, as a Headteacher, and we’re excited to welcome you into our school community. We hope that you are able to bring out our strongest abilities and help us with our weaknesses. Leroy Lane and Alexia Vicente Head Boy and Head Girl
