My dear brothers and sisters, In today’s Gospel, we hear the story of the road to Emmaus how the two people encountered the Risen Christ. Each and every time we come to mass, we experience bread and wine being changed and transformed into the Body and Blood of Christ. It truly is His Body and Blood, His Soul and Divinity. What a gift that we are able to experience. It is reminder for all of us that Christ is truly present in the Eucharist, and we are called to be a Eucharistic People sharing Christ’s love and mercy to all we encounter. My prayer for you this week is that you may have a greater love the Eucharistic Christ. Asking the Lord’s blessings upon you and your ministry, I am Sincerely, yours in Christ, Fr. Brian

Mis queridos hermanos y hermanas, En el Evangelio de hoy, escuchamos la historia del camino a Emaús cómo dos personas se encontraron con Cristo resucitado. Cada vez que venimos a misa, experimentamos que el pan y el vino se convierten y transforman en el Cuerpo y la Sangre de Cristo. Realmente es su cuerpo y sangre, su alma y su divinidad. Qué regalo que podemos experimentar. Es un recordatorio para todos nosotros de que Cristo está verdaderamente presente en la Eucaristía, y estamos llamados a ser un pueblo eucarístico que comparte el amor y la misericordia de Cristo con todos los que encontramos. Prayer n the Time of the Coronavirus Most Reverend José H. Gomez Archbishop of Los Angeles
Holy Virgin of Guadalupe, Queen of the Angels and Mother of
the Americas. We fly to you today as your beloved children We ask you to
intercede for us with your Son, As you did t the wedding in Cana.
Pray for us, loving Mother,
And gain for our nation and world and for all our families and loved ones,
the protection of your holy angels, that we may be spared the worst
of this illness. For those already afflicted, We ask you to obtain the grace of
healing and deliverance.. Hear the cries of those who are vulnerable and fearful,
Wipe away their tears and help them to trust.
In this time of trial and testing
Teach all of us in the Church to love one another and to be patient and kind. Help us
bring the peace of Jesus to our land and to out hearts
We come to you with confidence,
Knowing that you truly are our compassionate mother, health of the sick
and cuase of our joy. Shelter us under the mantle of your
protecton, Keep us in the embrace of your arms,
Help us always to know the love of your Son, Jesus.

Santa Virgen de Guadalupe,
Reina de los ángeles y Madre de las Américas, Acudimos a ti hoy como
tus amados hijos. Te pedimos intercedas por nosotros ante tu Hijo, así como lo hiciste en las Bodas de
Caná.
Ora por nosotros, amorosa Madre, y obtén para nuestra nación y para el
mundo, y para todas nuestras familias y nuestros
seres queridos, la protección de tus santos ángeles, que seamos librados de lo peor de
esta enfermedad. Para aquellos que ya están afligidos, te pedimos que obtengas la gracia de la sanación. Escucha el lamento de quienes están vulnerables y temerosos, limpia sus lágrimas y ayúdales a confiar.
En este tiempo de prueba,
enséñanos a todos en la Iglesia a amarnos unos a otros y a ser pacientes y amables.
Ayúdanos a traer la paz de Jesús a nuestra tierra
y a nuestros corazones.

PRAYER FOR HEALTH CARE WORKERS
God of everlasting goodness, you sent your Son among us
to bring healing, peace, and reconciliation to our weary world.
Be with all health care workers and their assistants
in this time of the Coronavirus pandemic.
As they continue Jesus’ ministry of care, renew them in mind, body, and spirit.
Keep them safe from infection and illness, and may Christ’s healing presence flow
through them as they serve those entrusted to their care.
We ask this in his name,
Christ the healer, who is Lord forever and ever.
Amen.
ORACIÓN PARA PERSONAL MÉDICO
Dios de bondad infinita, que enviaste a tu Hijo entre nosotros
para traer la curación, paz y reconciliación a nuestro mundo cansado.
Quédate con todo el personal médico y sus asistentes
en este tiempo de la pandemia del Coronavirus.
Mientras continúan el ministerio de cuidado de Jesús,

PRAYER IN A TIME OF PANDEMIC
O God of compassion, your people are anxious in this time of pandemic.
Send your Holy Spirit among us to dispel our fears.
We cry out to you in our confusion; comfort us in our affliction.
Grant our leaders wisdom to guide us. Strengthen and sustain those who are ill,
and be with those who care for them. Help us to travel this road
in solidarity with our neighbors, with our eyes fixed on the salvation promised us through the death and
resurrection of your Son,
who is Lord forever and ever. Amen.

Oh, Dios de compasión, tu pueblo está angustiado
en este tiempo de pandemia. Envía tu Espíritu Santo en medio de nosotros

Grant us the courage and wisdom, humility and grace, to act with justice. Breathe wisdom into our prayers and
labors. Grant that all harmed by abuse
may find peace and justice. We ask this through Christ, our Lord.

Espíritu Santo, alentador de corazones, sana las heridas de tus hijas e hijos
y transforma su fragilidad en integridad. Concédenos el valor y la sabiduría, la

O Mary, you always shine on our path as a sign of salvation and of hope. We entrust ourselves to you, Health of the Sick, who at the cross took part in Jesus’ pain, keeping your faith firm.
You, Salvation of Your People, know what we need, and we are sure you will provide so that, as in Cana of Galilee, we may return to joy and to feasting after this time of trial.
Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform to the will of the Father and to do as we are told by Jesus, who has taken upon himself our sufferings and carried our sorrows to lead us, through the cross, to the joy of the resurrection. Amen.
