Please ask the nearest person to you in the pews if there is anything you need. There is a carpeted area in the south aisle for our smallest children. A full service booklet is available and the T-loop system works well. A collection of money is taken during Mass (see back page for giving by text). At the time of communion, please feel free to come forward to the front of Church - either to receive communion or a blessing. Jesus invites everyone, you too! Finally, do stay for a drink after Mass if you can and say hello before you leave. If you would like to keep in touch, please fill in a white Contact Card and well respond asap. After time on Saturday with the locksmith putting in a series of locks and key safes around the building to enable us to keep the Church open during the day (as part of the Diocesan-wide Open Churchinitiative), the evening Prom was given over to the Irish singer and song writer, Eleanor McEvoy. On Sunday the major Harvest appeal for the children of Bonda was held at the 10am Mass before a short meeting when we finalised plans for new First Communion course (see back page). Then at 12noon we welcomed 35 people for a Harvest lunch in the Hall. Thanks as always to Maria Burniston, Joyce Owusu and to all who brought food to share. As always it was very good to be able to have the chance for new and old to socialise together. WELCOME to everyone in Church today, especially those visiting for the first time. Please ask the nearest person to you in the pews if there is anything you need. There is

a carpeted area in the south aisle for our smallest children. A full service booklet is available and the T-loop system works well.

A collection of money is taken during Mass (see back page for giving by text). At the time of communion, please feel free to come forward to the front of Church -

HARVEST WEEKEND Yet another busy week-end at St James’! After time on Saturday with the locksmith putting in a series of locks and key safes around the building to enable us to keep the Church open during the day (as part of the Diocesan-wide ‘Open Church’ initiative), the evening Prom was given over to the Irish singer and song writer, Eleanor McEvoy. On Sunday the major Harvest appeal for the children of Bonda was held at the 10am Mass before a short meeting when we finalised plans for new First Communion course (see back page). Then at 12noon we welcomed 35 people for a Harvest lunch in the Hall. Thanks as always to Maria Burniston, Joyce Owusu and to all who brought food to share. As always it was very good to be able to have the chance for new and old to socialise together.
