St. Joseph’s Evening College was established in the year 1972 and managed bythe Bangalore Jesuit Educational Society.The Society of Jesus founded by St. Ignatius of Loyala manages and administers more than 2000 educationalinstitutions across the world. SJEC is one such institution established for providing opportunities to the socioeconomically weaker students to have accessto quality and cost effective higher education. The College aims at holistic and integral formation of its students, fostering academic excellence, social concern & character formation. It also has a rare distinction of being the only independent Evening College in the country to be conferred Autonomous statusby UGC and accredited with B++ rating by NAAC. At present, more than 1300students are pursuing various UG, PG, Diploma and Certificate courses. The College offers B.Com., B.A. (HEP, JPS, EJP), BBA and BCA three year degree courses and a two year PG courses in Commerce, English & Journalism.

The SBI is an Indian multinational, public sector banking and financial services statutory body. It is a government corporation statutory body headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra. SBI is ranked as 236th in the Fortune Global 500 list of the world's biggest corporations of 2019. It is the largest bank in India with a 23% market share in assets, besides a share of one-fourth of the total loan and deposits market.

The SBI Officers' Association (Karnataka) is a Trade Union of Officers working in SBI, Bangalore Circle having 3300 membership with the objective to organise and unite all officers’ of SBI and to regulate their relations with the employers. Established in 1980, the Association is registered under Indian Trade Union Act 1926. It is recognized as the sole bargaining body for Officers in State Bank of India, Bangalore Circle.

Imparting research skills has become a vital mandate for all higher education learners. Understanding its growing scope, relevance and need, the Department of Business Administration has endeavored to incorporateResearch methodology paper, Research project report, Research project report synopsis, Research paper presentation and Viva voce as an integral part of the curriculum. As per the mandate, every student is expected to undertake project work in any company of his/her choice and on the samelines research paper is prepared and presented for validation. With this intent, we have conceptualized TRIAD and provided a platform for BBA and MBA (Twinning) students to showcase their researching skills.

Provide opportunity to all the BBA and MBA final year students to fosterresearch skills and aptitude

BBA and MBA (Twinning) students are expected come prepared for a 10 minutes presentation on the chosen research topic. The key aspects to be incorporated in synopsis presentation are: Cover page, Title, Introduction and background, Company profile, Research design (Statement of problem,objectives, scope of study, review of literature, research methodology, tools of data collection and limitation), Analyses and interpretation, findings, suggestions and conclusion, Bibliography. Experts will be eva luat ing each research paper on the above parameters .

Over 650 MBA research project report synopsis and 45 BBA research paper presentation is validated by research supervisors / guides /subject matter experts. BBA research papers will be evaluated for 100 marks (Research paper 70 + Viva Voce 30)
