On Saturday 5th November, the club

will be hosting a fundraising Gala Ball in

the plush surroundings of Grace Hall.

The evening will also be a celebratory

event, as 2016 is the 25th anniversary

of St. Michael’s winning the 1991 Down

Junior Football Championship.

We hope that many of our former

players from that era will be able to

attend.

Tickets are £50 and will be available

shortly.

St. Michael’s would like to take this opportunity and thank those who have came

far we have had four home games, with a number of others still to come. This has

proved to be a popular venture, and we are extremely grateful for your support. To

Down GAA Club’s Draw

To date the club has just had

Laverty, but we hope to have

now and the end of the draw

Hall available for Hire

The Gaelic Hall is available to hire for anyone looking to hold birthday parties,

family gatherings etc. Cost is £15 per hour and includes full use of facilities

A special word has to go to our Under 14’s who after playing seven games, are sitting top of their league. Playing

as Tír na nOg (a combination of St. Michael’s and Newry Mitchels), the team is made up with mostly St. Michael’s

players.his is a major achievement for the club, so well done lads, keep up the hard work.

The under 12’s are also performing well in their league, and if they win their games in hand, they will also be in a

great position looking for promotion.
