• Grade Four: Happy New Year! I hope everyone enjoyed their vacation! We are happy to be back at school! We are continuing to multiply in Math. Our Reading had been a chapter book called Frindle. The students have loved reading about a boy who makes up a new world and all of the attention he receives because of it. We are also continuing our botany unit. We looked at pinecones and different types of needles through our hand lenses. We enjoyed working in groups for that. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is getting really interesting. Harry has just arrived at Hogwarts and will be sorted into his house very soon!
