I will disappoint you:

- I visited only one shop

- I did not care about personnel

- The shop was nearly empty

DISCLAIMER

I did surprise myself:

- Just look at the following slides…

DISCLAIMER

I’d like to clarify that this is my favourite grocery shop, where I spend hours every month. I really enjoy both the quality of the food and the organization of the goods.

Above all, before taking this Class, I was sure I knew everything about this store.

See how I was wrong…

Before we start,

To start with, there’s plenty of barbecue charcoal, despite we are in the most rainy season.

More surprisingly, you find it in combination with other related goods: in this case for picnic, in two other cases with miscellaneous or vegetables (??!!).

I knew only one place where I am used to getting it when I need it.

DOUBT: are they trying to empty the warehouse or is their business model to provide customers with charcoal???

Obsessive presence

Cheese in sale is much more attractive if matched with the right wine.

I never found a very good cheese here, but those bottles almost convinced me to give them a new chance.

DOUBT: is this the first time they put some wine bottles in the display? I don’t think so, maybe I took for granted that this kind of product is too cheap for my taste and did not even notice it. Why is it then that I now noticed it? Is it because I am trying to see as if it were the first time?

Good marketing

Looking for something strange in the ceiling, I realized that meat shelves have large headings no one could ever see because of their height.

Furthermore, this heading does not completely correspond to the kind of meat in the shelves underneath.

DOUBT: a design mistake?

For giants only

I knew there must be fire extinguishers and nozzles somewhere!!!

Since I must have run into them several times, why is it that I’ve never noticed them before?

DOUBT: am I a “real” man? *

* If you have never read “Men come from Mars…” you can’t understand

We are safe!

Simply impressive. I would not have believed it if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes.

DOUBT: none, I’m still shocked

…and there was light

Page 10: Stanford creative - assignement 2

I eventually found what I’d been seeking for ages: my favorite barbecue spices!!!Why is such a good quality product confined in a remote position???

DOUBT: no doubts, this achievement alone is worth the time I spent in the store; and with this picture in my hand, I will never forget this place!

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
