Presidential Election Project
The presidential election is coming up on November 6th, so our students are creating a book all about it. The sections include: 3 facts about Barack Obama, 3 facts about Mitt Romney, a timeline, and a map showing the states and how many electoral votes they get. Every class in the school has a individual state they must put in the hall that shows the electoral votes as well. Ask your child how they designed their creative
cover page!
Also… in S. S.
Two student from each 5th grade classroom will be chosen to represent either Barack Obama and Joe Biden or Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. Later, those students will have a debate in front of third and fourth graders. Be ready to find out how our school votes for election. Only 7/8 more
years!
Check out Edmodo for the WebQuest to help prepare us!
Electoral College!
How are votes counted again??? Ask you child about their research and
knowledge of the Electoral College
States Project:
Ask you child what state they are researching! Creativity is always en-
couraged.
