Non Public School Immigrant CountsVerification
• Public school districts should go into the IDEx and review nonpublic immigrant counts in their own District BEDS form.
Non Public School ELL Counts VerificationAs Per Kristen DeSalvatore, Assistant Data Director Information and Reporting Services…“A best practice for districts is to work closely with nonpublic schools within their boundaries, as they’ve done in the past.”
• Nonpublic schools need to go into the IDEx and review the ELL counts in their Nonpublic BEDS form.

QUESTIONS?
What is the Level 1 Addendum?
• Think of it as an early warning system for Building Leaders.
• It is meant to ensure that low performing subgroups within Good Standing schools are identified.
• It is a survey to be completed collaborativelyamong school building staff, district staff, and parents to come up with ways of improving the performance of the identified subgroup.

Level 1 Addendum Outcomes
Survey / Needs Assessment for schools in Good Standing who have a subgroup who scored a Level 1.
Schools should work in consultation with parents, school staff, and other stakeholders at the school:
• to identify the academic achievement gaps between accountability subgroups within the school
• delineate the resources and strategies that the district will use to support the school to address such gaps
• To identify and determine the additional support and resources that the school needs to improve the subgroup performance.
School Building Report Card
• Best way to see which subgroups have scored a Level 1 is to go to the NYS Report Card Site https://data.nysed.gov/
• Find your school and click on the School Report Card tab.
