Aviation’s global market-based measure

ä Historic decision at ICAO Assembly (6 October 2016)ä Nearly all 191 ICAO States supported CORSIA

ä Industry was instrumental in agreementä 7 years since industry set goals and started pushing for a global MBM

ä September 2017: CAEP Steering Group approved draft CORSIA Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) and guidanceä including on alternative fuels

ä June 2018: Adoption of CORSIA SARPs by ICAO Councilä 1 January 2019: CORSIA SARPs applicable
