The con ference is being aptly organized at a time when there is an unambi guous acknowled gment of the fact that our moral uni- verse is shrinking with a stead y increase of graft and greed in our society. Today ww hen large sections of various segments of the so- ciety including politicians , civi l servants , def ense personne l , me- dia , corporate houses are all embroiled in one scam after anoth- er, it i s the duty for the right minded citizens of the country to wa ke up and take up the clarion call to cleanse the system. It is also true that we can not and should not paint all with the same black brush , but tt he idea is to create an environment where ri ghteous men and women in whatever profession or service , are enabled to fight this monster of corruption which would otherwise engulf and consume the entire system. Thh e primary focus of the conference will be on the following three themes: THEME 1: MAKING OUR LAWS PRAGMATIC, COMPLIABLE AND ENFORCEABLE In India , there are numerous laws that govern us today which are antediluvian , unjust or make compliance too difficult and cost l y. Many believe that the system is loaded against the hon- est : the laws, thoug h h are framed with a basic objective that the Eligibility : It is open to all. Students and the Youth are en- coura ged to send their presentations. Selection of Winners: The winners would be adjudged purel y on the basis of the presentation submitted bb y them. Jud gment would he done bb y a panel ofjud ges Presentation s received wou ld be the property of the organizers. The select- ed presentations wou ld be made into a book for wider circula- tion. The winners would also be given a complimentar y entry to attend the National Conference on Integrity and would be awarded during the same. ‘IWo entries would be adjud ged as winners from each top ic. An entry could , however, encompass more than one topic as we ll and would be considered bb y tt he jud ges on merit and eli- gible for prize within any of the above 3 top ics. Decision of of the panel of judges would be deemed final.
