The SAA-SDS STEM Club is looking for members!
What is STEM? STEM stands for science, technology, engineering and
math. STEM Education provides students with hands-on experience in sequences that build upon each other and can be used with real-world applications. STEM education creates critical thinkers, increases science literacy, fosters collaboration and enables the next
generation of innovators.
What do club members do?The SAA-SDS STEM Club participates in workshops and competitions such as programming robots, building catapults, constructing towers, programming, designing new products and improving existing products.
Who can participate?The SAA-SDS STEM Club is open to students in 4th-8th grade. There is no regular meeting time. Events will be held periodically and will involve a variety of STEM ideas.
Membership fee is $10 and includes a club t-shirt.
