Objective: Provide secured entry control points for vehicles and personnel that require access the Readiness Center for official business. This will be accomplished with remote audio/visual system integrated with a hydraulic gate operators at two locations. Two Alphones and two keypads will be mounted on a dual height pedestal near the vehicle gate entry points. This will allow personnel to key in access codes or request access through the audio/video phone system. And , one location with 48" wide high security swing gate with keypad exit and entry. This will provide a secured access point for foot traffic from the main complex to the Post Exchange Building (00013).
Scope of Work: To provide all components, materials, labor, and equipment to provide a fully functional access control systems. All modifications to existing fence or gates shall be included. The basic system shall include hydraulic operator, dual keypad/Alphone, egress/reversing loops, photoelectric beams w/hoods, 115v surge protection, Alphone Master Station w/7" display. All concrete flat work required for mounting pads, gates travel guides, operators, and other as needed.

Concrete Flatwork:
• Concrete pads will be constructed by contractor for the gooseneck pedestal , gate operator, free egress detector loop
• Pad thickness shall be minimum 6", minimum 4" below grade, detector loop pads will be flush with existing grade
• Minimum 3000 psi @ 28 days
EXCAVATION:
• Corner and gate posts will be encased in concrete base twelve inches diameter and fifty two inches deep.
• Line posts will be encased in concrete base twelve inches diameter and forty inches deep.
• Concrete used for post base will achieve a strength of 3000 psi 28 days after placement. • Drill or hand excavate holes for posts in firm, undisturbed or compacted soil. • Unless otherwise indicated , excavate holes for each post to a depth 4 inches lower than
post bottom. • Excavated trenches 18 inches minimum depth for electric power line from power source
to cantilever gate motor, Al phone and key pad. (by others) • Power circuit (120/20Amp) at gate operator to be provided by others as specified by
contractor • Low voltage conduit and pull string (1 " min) from each keypad to each gate operator to
be provided by others as specified by contractor
Fence & Gate Specifications:
Main Gate • Match existing style and design • 7' height, Ameristar Impasse II , Gauntlet style, fence. • 3-rail panels, 1" square pickets. • 3" line, end , and corner posts. • (1) 30' wide X 7' height Transport gate, 4" gate posts, with track slide.
North Side Gate • 25' cantilever gate, galvanized 2-1/2" 0.0. framework, 2" bracing and 9-gauge fabric • Gate posts to be galvanized 6-5/8" O.D. , 4" latch post • 6' tall galvanized chain link fence with barb wire arms and (3) strands of 12-1 /2 barb wire • Top rails, brace rails, and 7 gauge bottom tension wire

Additional Requirements:
• Quotes will be firm fixed price with full scope of work, signed • Provide equipment I component product data sheets or specifications for approval • One year warranty from date of completion • Notice to proceed will be issued prior to ordering any materials or beginning any work. • Installation I operation will be inspected by the State at the completion of the project and
prior to the acceptance of any invoice. • All construction debris will be disposed of promptly, a safe and secure worksite shall be
maintained at all times.

FORCE PROTECTION IMPROVEMENTS
CHATTANOOGA READINESS CENTER
1. Main Gate - enhance force protection through physical security measures to control access to the main Readiness Center complex and the Field Maintenance Shop
2. Northside Gate - provide improved physical security with automated access control point for large tactical vehicles and large commercial deliveries to the DFAC and organizational storage facilities
3. Building 00013 - enhanced protection and public access to the post Exchange, RAPIDS and Veterans Services with the addition of secure personal gate and security fence. Also provides access control to the Main Readiness complex.

Main Gate –
1. It is acceptable to use (1) dual height gooseneck pedestal with a housings attached at both
heights that will accommodate the IAPHONE and keypad (see attached spec sheet)
2. The distance between the entry keypad and the master station exceeds 330’ and requires long
distance adapters (see attached spec sheet)
North Gate –

JPW-BALong Distance / CCTV Adaptor
The JPW-BA is a long distance / CCTV adaptor for the JP Series. Used as a long distance adaptor, it will allow the distance to the video door station to be extended to up to 980’. Used as a CCTV adaptor, it will allow for an analog CCTV camera to be connected in conjunction with the GT-D audio door station. The JPW-BA will surface mount using the mounting holes or with the W-DIN11 mounting rail. It is powered with a PS-2420UL. Each JPW-BA is used for one feature only. For multiple cameras or if both features are required, add the appropriate number of adaptors.
