Confessions Confessions will still be available every Saturday from
4:00pm to 6:00pm observing social distancing and
requiring a mask.
Marriages & Baptisms The Public Celebration of the Sacraments (Baptisms and
Marriages) have been postponed. Parishioners can contact
the Rectory and speak with a priest concerning emergency
situations.
Funerals will still be celebrated, however attendance will
be limited to 10 people or fewer. While visits to the sick
will be limited, priests will still be available for emergency
sick calls and anointing.

Más allá del requisito que los feligreses deben traer y deben usar su propia máscara para la
misa, las iglesias solo se pueden llenar al 25% de su capacidad para cumplir con los requisitos
de distancia social de seis pies entre los feligreses. Sin embargo, las familias que viven en el
mismo hogar podrán sentarse juntas.
La recepción de la comunión será diferente. Se recomienda, encarecidamente, que los fieles
reciban la Sagrada Comunión en la mano y que dejen su máscara puesta cuando se acerquen al
sacerdote a una distancia de seis pies. Cuando el comulgante recibe la Sagrada Hostia, debe
moverse hacia un lado y consumir la Eucaristía de inmediato. La comunión solo se ofrecerá
de una forma; La Preciosa Sangre no será distribuida a los fieles en este momento.
La exención de la obligación de asistir a misa permanece vigente hasta nuevo aviso. Como tal, la Diócesis urge a cualquiera que se sienta enfermo de alguna manera a quedarse en casa. La
misa continuará transmitiéndose en vivo por el canal de cable diocesano y nuestra pagina de Facebook los domingos a las 10:00am en Español y a las 12 del mediodía en Ingles.

PHASE TWO GUIDELINES OF THE
RE-OPENING OF SAINT MICHAEL’S
Beyond the requirement that parishioners must bring and must wear their own mask for Mass,
churches can only be filled to 25% capacity to fulfill social distance requirements of six feet
between congregants. Families who live in the same household though will be able to sit
together.
The reception of Communion will be different. It is strongly recommended the faithful
receive Holy Communion in the hand and they must leave their mask on when they approach
the priest at a six-foot distance. When the communicant receives the Sacred Host, they should
move to the side and consume the Eucharist immediately. Communion will only be offered
in one form; the Precious Blood will not be distributed to the faithful at this time.
The dispensation from the obligation to attend Mass remains in effect until further notice. As such, the Diocese urges anyone who feels sick in any way to stay home. Mass will
continue to be broadcast live on the Diocesan cable channel as well as our Facebook page on Sunday’s at 10:00am in Spanish and 12:00 noon in English.

43). Se permite la entrada de UN PADRE, debe llevar una máscara en
cumplimiento de las medidas de distanciamiento social, así como
las guías de la ciudad.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION REGISTRATION
Registration for this year’s Religious Education Program at Saint Michael’s will
take place in the Pope Francis Center (on 43rd Street) by appointment ONLY.
There is ONE PARENT allowed to come in, they must be wearing a mask in
observance of social distancing measures as well as city guidelines.
When: July 21st, 2020 thru August 27th, 2020.
Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s and Thursday’s ONLY
Time: Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 2:00pm-6:00pm
