Stockton Heath Primary School

Primary PE and Sport Premium Funding Report

Overview:

Schools receive PE and sport premium funding based on the number of pupils in years 1 to 6.

Schools receive £8000 and an additional payment of £5 per pupil annually. This funding must be used

to make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of PE and sport they offer. This

means the premium should be used to:

develop or add to the PE and sport activities that the school already offers

make improvements now that will benefit pupils joining the school in future years

The DfE provides clear guidance on how funding can be used. Ofsted assesses how primary schools

spend their PE and sport premium and schools are also required to publish details of how the funding

is spent on their website.
