STOPKIT Test - Ø14” & Ø6” Pipe Spools Set up
14ӯ Pipe 6mm Hole at Plain Pipe 6ӯ Elbow 4mm Hole at Weld Heat Affected Zone
Note:-
Both pipe spools were Hydro tested at 120 BarG prior to drill to perform the STOPKIT TEST
Arresting an air Leak Under 7.0 BarG Pressure.
Ear protection required due to high noise level.
Leak Arrested at 10 N.m Torque.
STOPKIT Test at 14ӯ Plain Pipe with a 6mm Hole
Note:-
After air test the spool was filled with water and successfully tested at 80 BarG - 20 N.m Torque
Water Leak with Initial Pressure kept at 2.5 BarG. As the leak rate started to be reduced the pressure was gradually increased to 80.0 BarG to assess the STOPKIT performance.
STOPKIT Test 6” Elbow with a 4mm Hole at Weld HAZ
40 N.m Torque Applied Pressure 80.0n BarG
STOPKIT Test 6” Elbow with a 4mm Hole at Weld HAZ
44 N.m Final Torque
Minor Leak - Tear
Leak Permanently Arrested
6” Elbow 14”Ø Pipe80.0 BarG
STOPKIT Final Test at 80.0 BarG - Ø6” Elbow & Ø14” Pipe
STOPKIT 100 – Large Pad for Major Leaks
25mm Hole on Plain Pipe Pressurized up to 36.0 BarG. Evidence of Leak at around 30.0 BarG.
Pressure Stabilized at 25.0 BarG – Leak Stopped
STOPKIT 100
4mm Hole on Top of the Weld - Tested up to 36.0 BarG. No Evidence of Leaks
STOPKIT 50 – Smaller Pad for pinholes
STOPKIT 50
