SELF GUIDED MINI RETREAT Consoling the Heart o{Jesus A new (for St. Pius X) self-guided, mini-retreat-Consoling the Heart ofJesus-will begin on Feb 8th after the 5 pm Mass. Through short daily workbook readings and a weekly DVD presentation, retreat participants will receive detailed instruction on how to draw closer to the Heart of Jesus during His passion. The retreat will last 10 weeks (through April 12-the Saturday of Palm Sunday weekend) and will highlight the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius combined with the teachings of Saints Therese of Lisieux, Faustina Kowalska, and Louis de Montfort. Group retreat-participant sessions will be held each Saturday evening after the 5:00 pm Mass on the church's lower level during the retreat period. These weekly sessions will include a light (free) dinner for the retreat participants; discussion of the week's reading material; and watching a DVD segment designed to bring the individual reflections and group experience into a clearer and more livable focus presented by the retreat author, Father Michael Gaitley,* MIC (who has a remarkable gift for inspiring retreat participants to trust in Jesus-The Divine Mercy). During the Saturday sessions there will be free. supervised child-care available (and the children will also be fed). Due to space limitations, participation in the retreat must be limited to 50. All necessary retreat materials will be provided.

Registration opens next weekend-the bulletin will have details! Plan ahead so you don't get left out!

Fr. Gaitley is the author of the very well-received 33 Days to Morning GIOly self-guided retreat St. Pius X presented during Lent last year.

This retreat will be a great addition to your special Lenten devotions this year!
