Being abducted/kidnapped Being given illegal drugs Asked to do illegal activities

Strangers You Don’t Know

Say that they need your help To find a puppy Help with bags Etc.

Offer you candy or toys Offer you a ride in their car

“Strangers” You Do Know

They make you feel uncomfortable

They say inappropriate things “Bad Touch”

What To Do To Protect Yourself?

Tell an adult Tell Police Make LOTS OF NOISE!!!!!

MAKE NOISE!!!!!!!!

Draw as much attention to you as possible

Scream and Kick

The attention you draw may save your life and scare the “Stranger” away or allow others to see the “Stranger”

Protect Yourself

Make a plan with parents for pickup

Tell an adult where you are going If plans change call them!!!!!

Be in a group Password

The Secret Password

Password: a word or phase that you and your parent know and if someone other than your parent comes to pick you up they need to let you know the password before you get in a vehicle with them
