    What is stress? 

    Stress is the body's reaction to a change that requires a physical, mental or emotional adjustmentor response. Stress can come from any situation or thought that makes you feel frustrated, angry,

    nervous, or anxious.

    Advantages of stress reduction toward company 

      Less absenteeism due to stress-related disorders

      Less worker's compensation loss due to stress-related illness or accidents

      Improved job performance and less stressful, more efficient workplace

      Improved employee attitude and overall health  

    Stress Factor In The Workplace 

    Type of Work  

      Work that is tedious or repetitive   Too much work burden and less time to

    relax 

    Responsibilities 

      There is no clear responsibility (task

    conflict)  Responsible for the work of others rather

    than their own work  

    Relation between colleague 

      Ineffective communication

      Interruption of work (bullying) and sexual

    harassment

    Uncomfortable Environment 

       Noisy, hot and crowded workplace

    Management and Organization 

      A culture of blaming the workers   No support, lack of appreciation and there

    organizations such as policies, procedures and time is not flexible

      Avoid excessive workload 

      Know their own limit

      Refuse to do something beyond theirown ability 

      To work in cooperation 

    Increase endurance with: 

      Adopt a healthy lifestyle(exercise, a

     balanced diet) 

      Relaxing the mind (do practices such as

     breathing exercises and progressivemuscle relaxation) 

      Think positively 

      Able to accept criticism in a positive

    way
