Flexiform tendered for the relocation and installation of furniture for 300 SAAS staff. The staff needed relocating from Gyleview House, South Gyle, Edinburgh to Saughton House, Broomhouse Road, Edinburgh, over the course of over three weekends.

SAAS required furniture for open plan office areas, meeting rooms, mail rooms, receptions, manager offices, executive offices, and breakout spaces. To win the project, Flexiform went through various processes, including presentations and showroom, visits to discuss and illustrate our service offering.

Upon winning the project, Flexiform were given the colour tones of the carpet, so we could then match this with the colour scheme for the selected furniture. We then produced this for all products throughout the building. This led to various bespoke products been manufactured for SAAS.

Flexiform installed a range of furniture including Pico back-to-back desks in clusters of four, six and eight. The furniture Flexiform manufactured and installed adapted to the different departments, for example, within high noise areas screens were provided to section off each area and act as an acoustic barrier.

Different departments had varying storage solutions at the end of the back-to-back desks to suit their needs, but the contemporary bright design and feel was maintained throughout.

Flexiform’s bespoke items for Student Awards Agency For Scotland included lockers and mail room storage. This involved altering existing products to suit SAAS’ needs, including non- standard paint runs and specially-fitted racking. We pride ourselves on the ability to create bespoke furniture to fulfill each client’s different needs.

Flexilink 555 RackingFlexilink 555 Racking is Flexiform’s most versatile storage system, with a wide variety of sizes available. Flexiform measured SAAS’s mail room to produce a precise fit out.

Pico Back-to-Back DeskingBack-to-back cluster desking with a streamline leg and central cable risers were slected by SAAS. Desk rows were finished with various storage solutions on the end, including tambour and locker storage.

Meeting TablesFlexiform V-style flip-top tables were provided for versatile meeting and training rooms. These tables can be nested together for simple storage. Flexiform has four ranges of tables with rectangular, semi-circular and trapezoidal tops.

Breakout SeatingSAAS selected a range of soft seating and meeting seating for reception areas and offices. A wide variety of commercial fabrics are available to suit all colour schemes.

Freestor TamboursFreestor tambours are available in a wide variety of finishes and heights, from 695mm to 2,000mm. Various components are available for flexible storage, including pull out components, pigeon holes, and shelving.

LockersFlexiform can offer a choice of RAL paint colours for the locker doors. On this occasion, the client selected a RAL colour that matched their carpet tile.
