Method• A student questionnaire was created and administered

to students who were asked to complete the questionnaires honestly and to the best of their ability.

• Students were initially asked to answer a series of closed questions regarding their identity and academic background

• Students were then asked to answer a series of open-questions, closed-questions, ranges, and rating scales about their frequency of use, satisfaction, comments, and complaints of the student self services available through my.aup.edu

Discussion• Currently the my.aup website does not efficiently or

sufficiently meet the requirements of AUP students• 78% of the participants were unaware of at least 11

of the students self services accessible through the website

• Only 35% of the student participants admitted to usually finding the information they are looking for online; while they normally found this information quickly they did not find it easily

• Blackboard is the only student service available through my.aup that every student has accessed or used at least once

Page 17: Student Questionnaire

Discussion• The services that were academic based and vital to the

academic success of students, (webmail, course catalogue, the library website, grades/ GPA, academic calerndar, and class schedule) were the student services most frequently used

• There is a great need and desire to restructure and reorganize the manner in which student services are displayed online.

• The existing organization of the website does not make it easy to search for information nor does it allow for this information to be well-known and accessible to students
