New Mexico Highlands University is accepting application for a Student Recruiter. Under general supervision and reporting to the Director of Student Recruitment & Undergraduate Admissions, the new student recruiter will assist in the planning, organization and implementation of a wide variety of student recruitment activities. Responsibilities include outreach recruitment efforts, such as advising prospective students, maintaining contact with high school counselors, working with two year colleges and other administrators and prospective students and their parents, distribution of student recruitment materials and assistance in the development of new student recruitment programs. ese efforts will take place both in New Mexico and nationally. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in any field. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Prior experience working in higher education; Knowledge of New Mexico Highlands University and its programs; Knowledge of post-secondary financial aid and admission procedures; Prior experience working as a student employee in an academic student support unit; Experience working independently and with a high level of accountability; Prior experience delivering presentations to audiences.
