Purpose

• The purpose of the Study Efficiency Program is to assist students that are new to college and those that have had a deficient GPA in the past to be successful with their studies.

Reasons you may be added to the SEP

• Earned a GPA lower than 2.5

• Are an incoming Freshman• Display poor study habits• Any reason deemed

appropriate by your counselor

• Volunteers

Approved Monitors

• South Hall– Any active duty Unit Staff member present

• All other locations– Staff personnel located at front desk– Any other staff present in surrounding area

Instructions for SEP1) Print the Study Efficiency Log (on the Battalion website)

• “NROTC Starter Forms” “Tracking Forms” ”Study Efficiency Log”

2) Go to one of the study locations, write the location and your check-in time within the proper blocks. • Use black ink only• Ask the monitor to please print and sign their name • To log out, follow the same procedure

3) Log your hours of study throughout the week (Sun – Fri)• Start date will always be the Sunday (even if you did not log hours on Sunday)• Print your name, hours required by your counselor and start date on your log

4) Once completed, give Study Efficiency Log sheets to your Plt Sgt at Battalion PT (the following Monday)

*NOTE: Missed time = extra time for the next week i.e. 1 hour short=2 extra hours
