WHY NETAFIM SMART DRIP SYSTEMS?

FICTIONThere is no way to tell if a sub-surface drip system is working.

FACTThere are several ways to "see" that your system is working including:

Feel for moisture just below the surface of the soil,Monitor flows at the water meter.

FICTIONWater only moves downward through the soil, pulled by gravity.

FACTWhen applied slowly (as with drip irrigation) water travels outward from its source point, creating an overlapping wetting pattern beneath the ground.

FICTIONIf a dripline is accidentally severed it is difficult to identify and repair.

FACTIt is easy to tell if the tubing has been severed as a puddle will form directly overhead. To repair it you simply cut out the damaged section of tube and replace it with a new section. All you need is a section of tube and a couple of joiners and some clamps.
