SUMMARY
In July 1991 Noble Peak Resources Ltd optioned 15 mineral daims in Cunningham Township in northeast Ontario. Alcanex Ltd., of Toronto, Ontario, was retained in late July and early August to supervise a preliminary drill program directed at evaluating the base metal potential of a previously delineated chert horizon containing anomalous zinc and copper mineralization.
In August Norex Drilling, of Porcupine, Ontario, completed 343.6 metres of core drilling in two holes targeted at a Horizontal Loop EM Anomaly proximal to a recently discovered copper and zinc showing.
DDH 91.1-1 intersected a wide interval of stringer sulphides (ie: Py, Po, Zn, Cu, Pb) at the top of a sequence of felsic volcanic tuffs and chert-argillites (ie: 13.1 metres averaging D.96% Zn and G.16% Pb).
DDH 91.1-2 returned geochemically anomalous values in zinc and lead of up to 0.8 metres averaging a.24% Zn and Q.67% Pb.
The geological environment from which these encouraging drill results were obtained is favourable for hosting volcanogenic massive sulphide deposits. It is recommended that future work (ie: gravity surveying) be carried out to evaluate the depth potential of tiie mineralized chert horizon.

PROPERTY LOCATION fc ACCESS
The Isaiah Creek property consists of 15 unpatented mining daims located in the northwest sector of Cunningham Township, in northeast Ontario. The daims are located on map G-1095, a portion of which appears as figure 2 of this report

Cunningham Township is located approximately 125 miles north of Sudbury and 80 miles southwest of Timmins. The main highway between Gogama and Chapleau passes 11 miles south of the claim group. Recent logging operations have provided road access to within 2,640 feet of the south boundary of the property.
The town of Sultan is located 11 miles to tile south. The Canadian Pacific Railway passes through Sultan.
The piupeiiy was staked initially on behalf of Mssrs Troup and Otton for Alcanex Ltd., of Toronto, Ontario, in August of 1990.
PREVIOUS WORK
Numerous companies and individuals have worked and prospected throughout Cunningham Township since early in the 1900*8. To date, work has been focused on lead and zinc mineralization found in several bands of iron formation, of which the most notable is the Shunsby prospect in the north central part of the township.
Cunningham Township was mapped for the Ontario Department of Mines by V.B. Meen in 1941, and by G.M. Siragusa for the Ontario Geological Survey in 1978.
In 1980 the Ontario government flew a Questor A.ILM. Survey over Cunningham Township and the surrounding area. In tile area of the Isaiah Creek property, a series of anomalies were outlined along trend of the mineralized iron formation, that to the east is thought to host the Consolidated Shunsby Cu-Zn deposit
In 1983, Kidd Creek Mines completed geological mapping and ground geophysics over tiie western portion of the property and confirmed that the A.EAL anomalies had a bedrock origin. Zinc values of up to 4.49fc were reported from an area of carbonate veuung located approximately 200 feet south of one of the AJLM anomalies.
In June and July 1991, Mssrs Troup and Otton completed Max-Min n EM Surveys and surface sampling over select portions of tile property. This work resulted in the discovery of geochemically anomalous zinc and copper mineralization, associated with a chert-argillite horizon traced by geophysics for 1/400 feet into the claim group.
GEOLOGY
Metamorphic volcanics occupy much of the northern half of Cunningham Township. The volcanics trend generally east-west and are locally pillowed. Local top determinations suggest tops face north, however, throughout most of the Isaiah Creek property good top indicators were not identified.
A chert-argillite (oxide-sulphide facies iron formation) extends in an east-northeast direction across the northeast sector of tile property, where it is coincident with a medium strength Max-Min anomaly. A few exposures of intermediate to felsic tuff underlies the iron formation. The remainder of the stratigraphic footwall has been intruded by diorite, peridotite and granodiorite. Porphyritic mafic (flows?) are present to the north, stratigraphically above the utm formation. In the area of the chert formation dips are steeply south, indicating mat stratigraphy is locally overturned.
Laminations of magnetite are locally present in the chert-argillite horizon, which two miles to die east is the apparent host to the "Shunsby" base metal prospect
The Isaiah Creek property is bisected by a prominent north-northwest trenching fault (The Isaiah Creek Fault). The Isaiah Creek Fault appears sinistral in nature, with an apparent displacement of approximately 2km.
DIAMO
In August 1991, Noble Peak Resources completed 343.6 metres of core drilling in two holes to test the mineral potential of a chert-argillite horizon, from which sphalerite and chalcopyrite was reported in surface sampling completed in June of 1991.
DDH 91.1-1 was collared to undercut the best of the known surface occurrences.
DDH 91.1-2 was collared in an area of extensive overburden cover approximately 140 metres along strike to the west of the target H.E.M. amonaly. Both holes returned encouraging assays in Zn, Pb, Cu and Ag from a broad area of felsic tuffs and interbedded chert-argillite. Mineralization is confined to a broad zone containing stringers and fracture fillings of pyrite pyrrhotite (chalcopyrite and sphalerite). Areas of sulphide veinlets and fracture fillings are typically associated with chlorite enrichment The mineralized horizon is overlain to the north by porphyritic mafic volcanics. A summary of better drill results follows: D. D. H. 91.1 - l

CONCLUSIONS
Preliminary drilling and surface sampling has confirmed the presence of significant Zn-Pb, Cu and Ag mineralization in a chert-argillite formation extending for some 1/400 feet onto die geological Isaiah Creek property. The style and geological setting of the mineralization is similar in many respects to that reported from the Shunsby deposit to the east
RECOMMENDATIONS
It is recommended that follow-up geophysics be completed over the favourable chert- argillite formation to locate target areas at depth that could contain massive sulphides. Gravity would be one technique that might quickly and inexpensively evaluate the massive sulphide potential of the target horizon.
