COST / POLICY
Summer Camp Costs / Policies
Our summer camps are offered at a fraction of the actual costs and significantly less than the average cost of similar camps in the Green Bay area. This is possible because of funding from tribal contributions, grants, and the fees collected. The fees paid help offset costs for food, field trips, and supplies.
We understand that families have different abilities to pay. We offer scholarships that reduce the fees to $10 for Arts, Adventure, Community Education and Fitness Camps. To receive a scholarship, your child must have qualified for FREE LUNCH PROGRAM during the 2016-2017 school year. Please note that Oneida Recreation program are not eligible for scholarships.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
1. All fees must be PAID IN FULL by cash, check, debit or credit card at the time of registration. All paperwork, include registration and fee (for camps only: consent and medical disclosure forms and if applicable, letter verifying Free or Reduced Lunch from school) must be submitted in order to reserve a spot in camps and classes.
2. Changes: Please note that dates and times are subject to change. Please check our website for up to date changes.
3. Confirmation of Registration: If you provide your email address, we will confirm your registration online or mail-in registration as soon as the paper work has been reviewed. If you do not provide an email address and would like a confirmation or receipt, please include a self-address envelope with your registration.
4. Waiting Lists: If a class or camp is full, you will automatically be placed on a waiting list. We will automatically contact you by telephone if a space becomes available before the start of class.
5. Cancellations: Register EARLY! Some activities have limited numbers of participants and fill quickly. And, if classes do not have a minimum of registrants a week before the class starts, the class may be canceled. A full refund or credit will be given for any classes cancelled by departments.
6. Refunds: Except for in the case of a class cancellation, refunds are not available.
CAMPS ONLY
7. Scholarships are available for any summer camps with proof of free or reduced school lunches for the 2016-2017 school year. Scholarships reduce the fee to $10. Please be sure to include the letter from your school with registration. Scholarships do not apply to Oneida Recreation Programs.
8. Please note that if your child’s behavior is a threat to him/herself or others, you will be notified immediately, asked to pick up your child, and removed from the rest of the camp. No refunds will be made.
9. Attendance is important. If you child will be unable to attend less than 80% of the camp, please consider not signing up for the camp. Also, if you know your child will be missing some of the classes, please let us know. This is especially important in Adventure programs when children are learning skills that are applied to a final trip or exertion.
