International Summer School
JULY session25 June to 2 August 2017 In the 5-week programme, students can enroll in up to two 3-credit courses, each with 42 contact hours, taught entirely in English. Areas of study include business & management, China studies, Chinese language (Cantonese and Putonghua), environment, science & technology, and humanities & social science.
AUGUST session 4 to 26 August 2017 In the 3-week programme, students enroll in two 3-credit courses, each with 42 contact hours o�ering intensive Chinese language training. Students will be able to acquire pragmatic competence through classroom learning and immersion activities.
With a well established reputation, the CUHK International Summer School (ISS) is one of the region’s most recognised summer programmes attracting an
annual cohort of some 600 international and local students. The ISS provides students with an intensive academic experience and
Chinese culture immersion in a multicultural learning environment through two sessions.

The Summer Undergraduate Research Programme (SURP) provides an opportunity for international undergraduate students to undertake research attachments for 8 weeks.
